1 v; n/ y2 y$ \- s5 fDuration of Commitment:Summer T.A.N.G. Youth Program
Camp 1 – July 04 – July 14
Camp 2 – July 31 – August 11 (must attend an overnight camp on August 10 to 11)
Time:0915 to 1600(Regular Program Time)
# e( x6 q% h% z- K8 G*might work in other time in some specific days
9 f% ]9 K+ C% c9 NPlace: ASSIST Community Services Centre

+ ^7 j2 a7 X- s6 p; n; F2 cDuties:
To assist the T.A.N.G. Youth Program Coordinator by providing clerical and/or activities support in the followings:

+ S! p5 N9 j# \: w  ^2 W" [ Distribution of promotion flyers to schools, churches, communities and relevant social agencies and professionals
) }2 s6 `, }4 G. h Take attendance if available
% n0 v, f7 l# D0 }3 {+ u  j7 P Provide positive modelling to youth
 Facilitate or assist in ice-breaking games and/or other activities
 Facilitate or assist in small group discussions
* q8 ^, r' D/ \' [- n, N2 v Research activities related to the session’s topic upon advice of the Program Coordinator
( E6 e) Z0 \+ H0 c5 E3 f3 K& R Watch out on the safety of youth either in centre or fieldtrips
 Report to the Program Coordinator for any doubts or concerns and/or any troubleshoot behaviour
 Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program Coordinator
 Must follow guidelines or procedures stipulated in the manual/training
! J. h4 v4 R: H. t Attend debriefing sessions/ongoing training
 Assist in program planning/design
1 H+ c$ k! j3 H+ V  [ Any other program related tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator

Attitude/Skills Requirements

- [3 b7 j0 E9 x" O Mature, sensible, patient, organized, willing to take and follow instruction
7 V2 v# ?; n, n9 F8 P  r Be open and willing to initiate and maintain a positive relationship with youths in the program, or youth who is matched on an one-on-one basis
! y) I( j% u" J  B* _$ b( P% }) [2 H A team player, can get along well with other staff & volunteers
 Concentrate efforts in the group session or activities over other distractions
2 G1 u# X! n' A9 `7 U Able to work independently with minimum supervision
# n4 _# L$ Y$ t Value building on strengths in children, youth and families
0 q% [% X0 D; N! z7 b) V1 i Able to get along with youth and/or youth who might at risk
5 d+ x2 {! o+ y, H  s* W Certain proficiency in English and Chinese
