On September 25, 2011 the John Janzen Nature Centre will launch the Natural Treasure Program, an exciting new initiative from the Robert Bateman Get to Know Program.8 [# S5 w+ x0 J7 g, Q

Natural Treasure uses technology to provide youth with a unique outdoor experience. Participants follow a map or GPS device to complete an outdoor scavenger hunt by finding clues hidden around the Nature Centre.+ \$ V5 b- r7 d5 H( x, t6 Q

Next, participants head online for some fun challenges, games, and stories, all of which relate to their experience outdoors. The program is geared towards helping youth get to know Edmonton’s wildlife.
