The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
- p  ]0 W& ~. d9 W) s• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
3 _$ e5 U+ x$ v( Y• Behavior management
( i% _8 r5 B( k/ W/ Y7 W• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
Education
1 |* w4 [7 Q; k: t, _* c; {3 }1 o• Completion of a high school diploma
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
+ E' p$ n0 P6 X5 O) o& _/ fTraining & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
( O- ~% k. }, m• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
, G/ B% k# r& A. `• Standard First Aid with CPR
• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training

• Good verbal and written communication skills
1 h. p7 }$ _- p& ~3 G• Experience with personal care

Salary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
