The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

Responsibilities include:
• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
8 I; I6 I" [7 e• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
. \% M% ^; k( a- g2 F7 o# C• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
# i2 i0 f  H( y+ O• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
Education
• Completion of a high school diploma
5 t+ Z( j3 E3 U$ `) d+ J2 R  |5 d2 ]• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR

• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with personal care
