The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

Responsibilities include:
• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
, z4 y( t; v2 p" p• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
/ \, o8 g& }9 I3 w1 v9 y• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
' v2 x6 Q. u' c/ A, F! v& r• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
) ~5 V+ F6 L( o5 P  f/ T8 a8 b7 k• Behavior management
" t0 a& N8 W7 _5 L. ]• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
' |# o$ N' ], A# H' d1 X0 @Education
: N+ O* y: Z% c: f: i! U• Completion of a high school diploma
  @1 g6 x+ W5 V• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
/ {7 `3 z9 ^5 Y. H& A) l' \Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
2 c7 p0 @7 X; s- `; K3 i• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR
• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
+ l* p8 G& N1 v9 \" c( n" J8 |• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
• *Medication Administration

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
