The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

Responsibilities include:
& w/ p* z& I/ |! o• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
5 G. u: i& A0 M7 [5 p• Program implementation
. O3 @6 v) N$ |$ ~  ~- @) v• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
3 `' \" S6 |0 f9 m0 x. _• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
5 [. B4 f+ a5 f• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
; g6 k3 X* E! K* VEducation
3 {7 I: ]2 R3 h0 E' i3 n; m+ b• Completion of a high school diploma
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
/ N% B4 \. r9 Q! g& Z0 oTraining & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
" K2 L' s3 s1 ~( e: f$ }4 e4 I• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
$ [- i7 e" a& ]. q" p• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
, v) V# ?9 A# ~+ V, I$ k• Standard First Aid with CPR
) A2 [5 |' O$ R6 M  @• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
5 ~" W+ Q- K( h* {• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
$ j* @( [1 @2 [- _* r6 M, h• *Medication Administration

( X1 k9 w& T6 W' `# I• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with personal care

% A; a) u9 C  |" T* x* XSalary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
