The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

; B; E% Q% b6 k; g• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
( L( s% m* Q5 M5 A6 i1 Y• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
* A/ Q/ T* Y9 Q" r• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
9 e! O$ H8 M# S4 R• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:

- v& B4 F# z# Q+ ]! q0 I• Completion of a high school diploma
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
4 K% F6 k* v% O5 r/ N• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR
0 S$ ?2 a% S# w5 n5 k. |• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
