Position Title: Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker" {. j# W* x+ _3 s8 u, W. D

Position Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker.

, f( c3 n- k* G$ P w: D1 b• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person! o5 Z, ]# H- Q* s
• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST) G: ]2 U; v9 g
• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately
( Y3 e* X6 [5 P* B2 L• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter) Q, h/ x" \, C6 z
• Oversee the front counter when other front counter staff are on holiday or in trainings) k5 \" ^3 d/ ~! G9 Y+ ?; K" ?
• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents7 I: K7 I! V) m4 z# U
• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker
% R v, R. U/ M8 ?" q# W& o- k• Maintain and update the information boards with upcoming events ~7 A' i6 g1 o& x/ p9 P; {
• Assist the ISP team in reminding clients to appointments of workshops or other events

• Attend meeting and training to stay current on immigrant settlement matters ]6 Q, \/ s% `0 \/ u
• Maintain front counter service files1 l& [/ G3 k7 D+ L) D- o
• Perform general office duties as assigned

- V# F8 a% \* P! n3 o7 a• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person: y# S* ?1 a7 e! x: ^7 @, j5 O: Q I5 s
• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset" I0 Q7 S; d5 n e
• Good English writing and oral communication skills

+ u/ `" U. J4 n% G• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook

Qualifications:
) ]: ]$ d( L1 e- H• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience
1 S$ R/ g3 b/ e* z6 U# Q• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment
0 K/ u# V$ D) r• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism
, q f+ O7 X7 ^9 Q• Ability to work well under minimal supervision
