Scope and Purpose of Job
- r4 \* e6 t$ cEmployee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
. q6 p" w, X5 I' o8 j" O7 FMajor Responsibilities and Accountabilities
•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
/ s& g9 C; O* f+ s- x* ^. T•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
1 b6 i. L' h* ]5 V& ]8 `$ z•        Assist where needed in application questions.
•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
. [& j, ~0 b( P# G% O5 V* L8 {( [  Mo        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
, ?6 q4 @1 }; {  V  oo        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
  `) z5 d- T; I: V- F# y•        Track and report all warranty failures
o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
; L( M" m( A+ @9 v4 X( \& w$ r( n  Ho        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
2 }) ^6 d( D: K•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
; _: Z* g5 P1 q3 L5 R3 n0 C+ ]) no        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
4 @* n% [4 V* X4 B3 x; ^# }% P' ]o        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.

" h8 O( Y+ e5 ~0 g4 `8 @o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
o        Act as technical applications expert on development team.

0 C# {) G8 ], s* Z% |•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
$ S5 \+ _0 Q/ E7 W+ {7 ~5 f: B* xo        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

Professional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)       
, K* ]) `9 U$ M$ ], }0 ]5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
List of Skills/Qualifications       
% n* b! C! ~/ i; I3 z•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
: u+ K, S: J! U; P* ?•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
•        Proficient in software use and writing.
•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
: t* R: u7 @* C•        Ability to travel worldwide.
7 U3 _% R' e( w9 [& X! {•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
