Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
2 m" u( h8 q$ y; U  ]  L, XMajor Responsibilities and Accountabilities
+ T2 s( ]/ J; ]3 a) P•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
" y8 y  h: O; N7 g9 t•        Assist where needed in application questions.
9 D! E7 P  }$ C7 ^" ]$ T3 y, W" T•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
6 L6 K( Z! i& J* n& `5 ]o        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
•        Track and report all warranty failures
: z. W; B6 a3 O, A+ p6 f* L  so        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
o        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
$ Y* h& ?  Q" W8 I9 ]) I•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
2 {; B) h* q5 {9 m$ Go        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
( i2 E) J- U/ L" i: J- `/ h3 Do        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
8 a$ Y/ x( @" v; Co        Assist in writing and new product specification
o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
o        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
•        Assist in Sales support & training.
3 _$ N0 \0 t: u4 z; b) P0 @0 O•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
o        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

- [' s5 @. c. g- N9 |( w5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
. v2 a0 C  W) u, k/ F6 B0 TList of Skills/Qualifications       
•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
6 U  m- z8 v" m6 C4 y& d, ]( {•        Proficient in software use and writing.
) q# K1 M4 E: C( ^7 z% k& n•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
•        Ability to travel worldwide.
•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
