! v0 z* w2 g* L1 b7 M% @9 u, J. |-        Help define technical architecture and develop strategies for incorporating new
5 l3 _+ s( m) b/ l" W, Dtechnology;
# O  n* K! O# O6 J$ T! Z1 Y5 N/ H-        Identify where new technology can be used to meet business needs;
  Q1 a1 Z: D1 B. s$ p& i-        Review requirement and design documents to ensure follow department standards;
. {. A3 u( W8 f4 G) _+ {4 Q8 R1 b-        Participate in peer reviews;
-        Create and Maintain technical documentation;
; ?  K( p( q* s& E  `$ N( C-        Programming planned enhancements;
-        Testing system changes;
4 }9 k, ^3 `- g-        Ensuring changes to the application meet the department standards and follow the
department’s change management processes;
9 v2 S$ }* F& ~5 f! t-        Providing Microsoft SQL database support for improving application performance;
. f' m+ ?8 r$ y& p* D-        Very good technical skills to respond to problems from other developers;
; q( o5 a6 ]) u& w-        Providing on call support after regular business hours as required;
-        Lead short term projects;
-        Effective presentation skills are required to communicate solutions;
-        Excellent written communication skills;
-        Knowledge of the Systems Development methodology is required to ensure
effective delivery of service; and
-        Understanding of project management.

' F; |( ~- B. q3 S(a) Experience defining technical architecture and developing strategies
for incorporating new technology.

8 e( T6 {, E  z: `$ S(b)        Experience developing multi-user/ n-tier/ Object Oriented applications using C#.net. (Maximum of two years of VB.net or JAVA experience will be considered as equivalent)
2 }  O' n- Z8 A( ~+ C5 J. d
(c)        Experience developing SQL objects for an MS SQL Server. (Maximum of two years of Oracle experience will be considered as equivalent).

8 P- e* u( D/ {& _/ n( C$ G(d) Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation with formal change management procedures.

& T% M. ?$ G7 p5 ~6 r& ?5 r(e) Experience working in an environment with a team of 3 or more developers
, ?( k- |' e% ~  n9 T0 r/ \, n6 d
(f) Experience reviewing Requirement and Design documentation for quality to ensure application standards are being met. Creating and working with design documents/user requirements (software artifacts).

(g) Project experience with formal development methodology.

(h) Experience with one or more of the following tools:
/ w# z3 M0 N; }5 G1 V- y* v- Infragistics controls
; K. F# }9 A3 Q4 g- IBatis.NET, or MyBatis.NET
- Nunit
- Crystal Reports
- Pdflib
& X8 ^4 @0 n2 i" O+ ~- Microsoft Project Portfolio Server

(i)        A minimum of 6 years combined related experience and education as stated below. Additional education and\or experience is preferred. Combined education and experience:
- A related University degree and 2 years experience; or
, z* x  a: b2 r/ M7 D* V8 W- A related two year diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution and 4 years experience; or
- A related one year certificate from a recognized post-secondary institution and 5 years experience.
