Description
. L" \6 r( N3 wTracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.) j+ j: Q! j2 J# J7 ]/ G8 x
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
& S( l, x$ x% D3 `9 B! F% {; ]•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
2 X8 P) L2 v& e2 y# j•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
* K6 A* A3 }' f6 m2 W- |! y, K- F•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
/ f7 G4 O1 c4 P) b2 i- ]•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues./ t: G( Z% T. O9 v. v8 ]
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives. , H3 b) k! m9 M! N- o+ [
•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.- V: {9 |' i7 `  r9 P5 V+ t1 l
•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.2 [) J8 a. |4 ^1 H
•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.6 Z4 q; C1 C2 w* E  B
•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
, a% q7 W# w- U( |; s) k•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.6 R1 j# ?* B8 m4 @/ R6 _3 P
•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.

$ k/ V  B0 @) r2 C6 K3 B% P•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.

Qualifications2 p# P( T+ G1 g" l. i2 ]/ d
Requirements:- K7 q* D7 Z" ]' J3 l9 |
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills. / Z# M$ {' `9 Y6 d- @
•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
- t# a) Z/ y3 o5 J7 c•        Strong Union Relations experience required. 4 s$ _# z- g0 b# o) |! a
•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
. Q7 L# D; ]7 A5 v•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
