Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:/ S# R4 c. {/ ^- R0 B0 O- o
•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.; X) s- @  |; K2 b) I0 f
•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
9 Y) n3 H5 M" [5 ]0 r•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.) s+ B4 z: A) \( x5 ^  w6 ?3 F
•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.! k! `8 Z) m# g, h, n* l
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
2 d& I3 o2 f: Q! g1 l" M1 B•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
5 A# k0 v. C* u$ Z  D+ V( s•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.' k& D! M0 ]: [+ t2 G
•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.6 U; f/ U, x$ J
•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).' J1 \$ q+ d/ S- h4 L& ~; Q6 q
•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
3 D- O( m, m0 h  R& Y, q•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.
# ~1 M% H$ t0 {& l. J  ~0 i4 K3 z•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.8 I$ Z- w: f2 e* R
•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.

•        Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.& F4 j* W$ ]: F

Qualifications
: N. I! [: y3 t+ A# H# QRequirements:* F$ L2 O! A2 C) i' }
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
- t4 b- A2 {' n4 G0 v4 @•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources. ( J/ X3 F; c: B7 ^) }# b, B
•        Strong Union Relations experience required. " q- j# L& n- {$ P; m' l6 z, ^
•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
) f9 l# E; _$ T' u1 {  k, L•        CHRP Designation is an asset.. y# b) m4 O6 Z& h0 ^. P$ U
