Effective August 1, 2002, Saskatchewan motorists will only have to report motor vehicle collisions to police if the collision involves:
, u' E6 B3 H$ V1) Any bodily injury or death;
) H% U4 D( m* H3 z2) A Hit-and-Run;' A+ V. H4 U7 D
3) A driver impaired by alcohol or drugs;
) Y( l9 T3 ^: o4 H: Q/ K* \9 A4) A motor vehicle towed from the scene;/ v2 G, V: }; ~8 M4 R0 g- T/ x
5) An out-of-province vehicle.

Normally, police would be dispatched to the collisions described above. One exception may be an owner's discovery that his/her vehicle has been damaged in a hit-and-run, but the vehicle can still be safely driven to Police Headquarters. In such a case, the owner could make a report in person at Police Headquarters.
