Effective August 1, 2002, Saskatchewan motorists will only have to report motor vehicle collisions to police if the collision involves:
, Y+ n" h( }; { W1) Any bodily injury or death;' {; e( b; E8 o; Y/ L1 u: R
2) A Hit-and-Run;
/ B& [$ S# _: x* N V$ K. H; K/ }3) A driver impaired by alcohol or drugs;& y) r: Q0 H5 _4 `' Z' C/ ~# x6 A' b
4) A motor vehicle towed from the scene;
0 U1 g- Q) W8 U2 C5) An out-of-province vehicle.

T; \1 o3 f( F7 dNormally, police would be dispatched to the collisions described above. One exception may be an owner's discovery that his/her vehicle has been damaged in a hit-and-run, but the vehicle can still be safely driven to Police Headquarters.
