What is the criteria for reporting a traffic accident? Can I phone it in?
$ K) j2 P" H8 q( y* v4 I! ?% TEffective August 1, 2002, Saskatchewan motorists will only have to report motor vehicle collisions to police if the collision involves:9 w5 q/ _# } o; } H7 s
1) Any bodily injury or death;8 V3 c& r4 H" ] n' F
2) A Hit-and-Run;

4) A motor vehicle towed from the scene;; a# B; @4 f) K2 R7 f% t: b [4 n
5) An out-of-province vehicle.+ Y+ l% g& b$ B4 @. z( G I

Normally, police would be dispatched to the collisions described above. One exception may be an owner's discovery that his/her vehicle has been damaged in a hit-and-run, but the vehicle can still be safely driven to Police Headquarters.
