Effective August 1, 2002, Saskatchewan motorists will only have to report motor vehicle collisions to police if the collision involves:8 L, u! y2 \3 N& S" b
1) Any bodily injury or death;

# o( V4 c3 _5 J d& B6 H* S$ ]3) A driver impaired by alcohol or drugs;
& u$ h7 N+ F Z2 H) ]- n4) A motor vehicle towed from the scene;
/ F: P3 D0 I( ?. c( S5) An out-of-province vehicle.! D" G/ ]2 K& }/ P" C& J( a, z

Normally, police would be dispatched to the collisions described above. One exception may be an owner's discovery that his/her vehicle has been damaged in a hit-and-run, but the vehicle can still be safely driven to Police Headquarters. In such a case, the owner could make a report in person at Police Headquarters.. R' X* R% D5 {" |, U5 w o
