Effective August 1, 2002, Saskatchewan motorists will only have to report motor vehicle collisions to police if the collision involves:
, F) S d& P8 A1) Any bodily injury or death;& a# K h3 M- t, S8 F' U2 }
2) A Hit-and-Run;8 y% `2 }* P8 p$ B
3) A driver impaired by alcohol or drugs;
! r# ?; G2 ~& f; U F4) A motor vehicle towed from the scene;
2 h) c" f" ?* `, q5) An out-of-province vehicle.

Normally, police would be dispatched to the collisions described above. One exception may be an owner's discovery that his/her vehicle has been damaged in a hit-and-run, but the vehicle can still be safely driven to Police Headquarters. In such a case, the owner could make a report in person at Police Headquarters.# c: g% s: p( `" Z
