Position:         Food Service Supervisor (NOC 6212)

Location:         11190 Ellerslie Road, Edmonton, AB, T6W 1A2
Wages:         $13.30/ hour, 40 hours per week
Shifts:                 Rotational / day / night / weekends

Main duties:
) n1 k9 P7 j3 H5 |•        Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
( ~( A  |3 p1 a" V  s•        Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
•        Prepare food order summaries for chef according to requests from customers
* r. \4 g1 I, ?/ x* S8 `9 N6 U•        Establish methods to meet work schedules
  E( ]# ?; t3 q' Q5 n- A•        Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
•        Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
•        Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
1 a2 C) n& D' s•        May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
•        May plan menus and determine related food and labour costs

Job Requirements:
•        Completion of secondary education is required
•        2 years of experience in food preparation or service are required
7 m" }! H. R" x+ B•        Availability to work day, night and weekend shifts and “on call” requests are a must
•        Viable candidates must  have a suitable means to travel to and from work regardless of time of day
