Position:         Food Service Supervisor (NOC 6212)

Wages:         $13.30/ hour, 40 hours per week

( X. N" u: S! K) `2 ?5 zMain duties:
2 A2 V: G0 L8 ^6 h- m•        Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
•        Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
•        Prepare food order summaries for chef according to requests from customers
•        Establish methods to meet work schedules
•        Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
•        Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
•        Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
" C5 s; {+ `, K, E- }•        May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
, v& L3 M" `% Z, u  h' j2 P, y1 b' ^•        May plan menus and determine related food and labour costs

Job Requirements:
) s. {! n3 P+ @* |: L0 I, H% O. Q•        Completion of secondary education is required
2 ]  N$ x2 c& }, j9 h- C% g•        2 years of experience in food preparation or service are required
•        Availability to work day, night and weekend shifts and “on call” requests are a must
•        Viable candidates must  have a suitable means to travel to and from work regardless of time of day
