EARLY LEARNING FAMILY PROGRAM

The program will be offered at St. Teresa Catholic School every Tuesday for seven
7 I9 {$ J5 T0 g F! p G% Fweeks beginning March 6th and ending April 24th, 2012.

Snack: 3:15pm to 3:45pm( H) g4 B1 w. C( ~6 U6 c
Rhymes that Bind: 3:45pm to 4:45pm
5 `4 q% y# |2 C2 W8 E' YThis “drop-in” program introduces parents to various strategies that can support
g! U# ]" E: y# O) |% p) j; _0 stheir child’s early literacy and language experiences. It is recommended for
2 h' e; C; ^9 q; ^1 n. B3 tchildren that have been identified with language needs. RHYMES THAT BIND is an
* t8 F$ L$ Z3 f# X8 toral family literacy program for parents and their children ages 0 – 6. It
' E/ G& N( G; A% lencourages parents to sing, rhyme, talk and play with their children in a relaxed,
2 K; h8 n9 R0 w. @0 x! F5 b; G* ^, rfun, and supportive environment.
& a) L5 {1 V6 Y+ `- ~9 ]Each family will receive a booklet of songs and rhymes at the last session. No
