- submit information for community news

- train volunteers for ISP and provide duties% d2 `0 u, ^- s) T& t5 a9 ?
- train volunteers for Centre and provide duties

- coordinate, update Volunteer Manual
" F$ K" x5 D4 l# b4 C- planning and coordinating Volunteer Appreciation

- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to volunteer services

- provide volunteers for Centre activities as needed- ~& @3 |; k4 Q3 M X
- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as needed
; y+ r! n. C& x6 l- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)
6 X9 D& ~ a. x+ U* F- promoting volunteerism through various media including the 3 main Chinese newspapers, Chinese radio station and the Chinese television, Fairchild TV, brochures, pamphlets, booth displays, special events + S) f" q! N ]; Q
- development and distribution of a volunteer manual
) o. ~" J9 v( \2 ^ L# O- planning and implementing training sessions for volunteers $ n& [4 P6 w/ Y; F A+ b
- planning and implementing training sessions for staff that work with volunteers
+ i4 p1 E [ m- V' E5 o- consulting and reporting to the Advisory Committee on a regular basis 7 J& _1 r1 o* E5 r* d1 M! g8 f
- evaluations

Qualifications' Q8 U$ e. x3 m% F1 w1 u8 `$ r# M
- degree or diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or related experience and education
- K3 p* W7 t8 v& R+ O- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
: p. H% D/ `* G% l- experience in volunteer coordinating and immigrant services
# ~, k0 i' D" c+ [; S- leadership skills( g: `* s, K" w
- management and supervision skills
/ c9 [" r5 N" `2 D5 H- exceptional communication, interpersonal skills
