Here it comes our 2012 ECES 19th Anniversay Banquet! It will be a great opportunity for you to meet with old/new friends, and network with your acquaintances in the engineering industry. The guests on our VIP list include officials from the three levels of government, the Association of Professional Engineers, Geosciences of Alberta (APEGA) as well as representatives from academia, engineering firms, businesses and the Edmonton Chinese community.

Edmonton Chinese Engineers Society’s 19th Anniversary Banquet will be held at Dynasty Century Palace Restaurant, Suite 200, 9700 105 Ave NW, Edmonton, on Friday, May 25th, 2012 with reception at 6:00 pm and dinner at 7:00 pm.  We are honored to have Paul Tsounis, M.A. Econ/Fin, Director of Strategic Business Analysis and Forecasting in the Economics and Markets Branch in Alberta Energy, as our distinguished guest speaker on the topic “Alberta’s Energy Markets: Opportunities and Challenges”.We will also be holding our annual silent auction, with all proceeds collected going towards “Edmonton Youth Emergency Shelter Society”. Edmonton Youth Emergency Shelter Society is a registered charity in the province of Alberta, formed in 1978. The organization supports the youths between 16 and 18 from all different aspects in their life. Last year, we raised approximately $1,000 for “Crystal Kids” charity. We respectfully request your help to make our celebration a success.
