Edmonton police have arrested and charged a 26-year-old man with a weapon offence, following several recent gun complaints in the southwest community of Riverbend.: ^$ F' c r4 Z5 a& ~3 S7 X' {
! t7 W. X0 y; OA male wearing a balaclava and carrying a handgun was spotted by a pedestrian walking in the area of Falconer Road and Riverbend Road at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday.

0 [4 O$ o/ H1 c) }9 i, J8 EPolice arrested the man later in the afternoon at the Terwillegar Recreation Centre, after receiving a tip from a resident.

9 F+ g$ r. R0 b* y. o: {A search of the man's home turned up a BB pistol and balaclava matching the description given by witnesses. The man is charged with possession of a weapon for dangerous purposes.
