# d; O) K n5 p+ ]( K+ b- OPosition Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker. 6 `- n) N" d7 {% K& Z3 t3 X6 G* f/ v- X

Key Responsibilities:) w! R |8 M) ?) }5 \
• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person
/ F6 G, K. l6 ^# z: i8 F• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST9 i, p8 E# X& s( i
• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately$ Q5 r3 | }1 d# k3 {5 ^* a/ |. ^
• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter, |- b( Q& n* P0 b( m
• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents
; w4 a& k- [% |/ |• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker
* Q! e+ F4 Z4 R* z• Maintain and update the information boards with upcoming events8 F. P3 s6 q" _9 P
• Assist the ISP team in reminding clients to appointments of workshops or other events

• Attend meeting and training to stay current on immigrant settlement matters" ~- {& f/ R. g- \5 {

• Report to ISP Program Manager

2 H9 Z. j& d) U• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person& J3 @) @, K8 s. s- U, L
• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset9 \; H) a2 x+ m$ z* ^( g: }
• Good English writing and oral communication skills. Q" g% T4 r9 c3 F0 ^6 e7 ]
• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients5 t& q1 {1 e7 o" w4 W+ b
• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook( q2 V4 ?/ j8 F' o8 }
• Ability to address multi-task and set priority appropriately ( N! i' R* @2 |; _( T
• Sensitive to the needs of immigrants with multicultural backgrounds

• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience ; `: k* n5 x1 [" V
• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment
, E& t+ Q% y5 p, [+ j. w• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism/ J% j$ }0 D9 g6 L- k; l
• Ability to work well under minimal supervision
