Position Title: Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker/ a! B/ T" o5 d$ H$ }6 G) G% Q
Hours of Work: Part-time (21 hours per week)

5 u+ h% ~6 w- h+ YPosition Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker.

• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person
- D) u8 \* u8 N* U3 U. ]2 r• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST
# P G* c2 ?# J# h• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately/ q- e( A9 C0 Q) k* O
• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter
4 }9 i7 j8 U9 A9 R0 s4 D2 i• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents; A$ ^" n1 c4 ]; O
• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker

• Assist the ISP team in reminding clients to appointments of workshops or other events5 @/ W9 j0 A N6 a
• Keep the reception area tidy and clean$ A! _: O/ ~& \9 Q
• Attend meeting and training to stay current on immigrant settlement matters

• Perform general office duties as assigned' I0 F7 A( A7 D, x

* h& d3 ~& {0 V2 B% R$ yKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
( d3 \9 @2 `6 b* h• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person8 E/ W( }" C6 C+ V
• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset
; D* A- Z- ?( g" m9 m/ Y' M( a/ M+ Z• Good English writing and oral communication skills8 k8 Y( X; s5 m# j' I" C
• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients4 @4 P: a5 Z: W {, `1 a
• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook

Qualifications:
8 T4 v5 A5 D( W( H% X% s$ d• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience 2 q, |5 C6 u( ?
• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment
4 i: \6 q' o+ C5 N& h• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism
8 i$ N' K& R" d! G' t1 r. T• Ability to work well under minimal supervision
