Responsibilities

+ e7 ?$ Q0 p4 y. u$ |. b) {$ g9 y·         Engineering 480V to 38kV switchgear
* K! U  r4 P" o; o4 W3 P, j; r+ k
·         Engineering 2.4kV to 7.2kV Motor Control Centres including softstarters and autotransformer starters

5 b6 ^+ h! |; b$ x1 T8 d: x·         Engineering fully integrated electrical buildings

·         Reviewing vendor drawings

·         Analyze customer drawings, specification and engineering notes in order to create a design that meets the customer’s needs.

·         Create a scope of work by identifying the company’s agreed to obligation.

7 _, E4 e1 s) j! o' j·         Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.

·         Assist project management and estimation with draft budget changes, based on customer design/scope changes.

·         Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.

·         Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.

·         Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.

·         Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.

8 r1 l- O: z% G" B" T4 ]·         Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project and the company.

Position Requirements

0 n2 t( p! R3 l9 P4 q$ H2 v·         BSc in Electrical Engineering
9 K! f0 I# d! n& K8 A# C; S
- R7 N: q+ I4 d8 F' L5 i- D& a* E/ b+ e·         Registered with APEGGA as an Engineer in Training

·         Attention to detail is a must

·         Experience using AutoCAD is an asset

·         Experience with Microsoft Office is an asset

. A: `% l5 [; X/ V0 ]" B·         Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.

% ^( s" E8 o# W% C# K( X·         Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

·         Strong interpersonal skills.

Work Conditions

Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines.
