Responsibilities

·         Engineering 480V to 38kV switchgear

·         Engineering 2.4kV to 7.2kV Motor Control Centres including softstarters and autotransformer starters
; D! K5 i4 U* [9 t& ]
·         Engineering fully integrated electrical buildings

·         Reviewing vendor drawings
9 T: `3 _/ i4 x. I7 a
·         Analyze customer drawings, specification and engineering notes in order to create a design that meets the customer’s needs.

·         Create a scope of work by identifying the company’s agreed to obligation.

·         Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.

0 L4 E9 i0 g3 j; Y5 B( y: \$ f0 b·         Assist project management and estimation with draft budget changes, based on customer design/scope changes.

·         Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.

·         Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.

·         Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.

·         BSc in Electrical Engineering

' r3 ~- s& a7 \* g/ h3 Z+ P0 b·         Registered with APEGGA as an Engineer in Training

·         Attention to detail is a must

: Z0 N- d1 d- a2 ?6 v# a* @3 h·         Experience using AutoCAD is an asset

·         Experience with Microsoft Office is an asset

7 {/ I' t% v6 W) Q% }  v·         Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.

·         Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

·         Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.

Work Conditions
