Hours of Work: This position works 44 hours per week. 2 Y4 E q) g8 G$ t5 x% W
Days of work are Monday through Friday, Saturday rotation.

Full-time journeyman to maintain and repair an assortment of vehicles with emphasis placed on preventative maintenance.

Diagnose problems and perform all types of repairs to a wide variety of speciality vehicles
! G4 f6 y) _# L" j6 nRequisition parts and materials, as required., i0 o" n! g' R. T
Create and complete work orders, gather fleet information and input data into the computerized management system.
8 {( a) _' q zProvide specialized training and guidance to apprentice(s).* l- J0 `4 j2 r" y/ F# ?
Access technical information using Snap-on Shop Key on-line automotive support program and communicate using e-mail.6 I& y" r% I6 I t7 X- x
Other assigned duties.

Qualifications:
/ i2 C/ {/ h8 n8 a& }: Z# A" c / k6 e" C9 c5 b$ F. j7 q. b+ ^" V! ?
Applicants must possess a valid Journeyman Automotive Mechanic certificate or equivalent recognized by Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training. ]" n: m5 K O- x# g$ H* T
Applicants also must have a valid Class 5 Driver's Licence (or provincial equivalent).* E/ V) v4 I8 i8 q' P, \8 `: q
Preference will be given to those who have current experience diagnosing and repairing North American and/or foreign vehicles. ! u! c; W' x+ A# l
