Work under the direction of the Geomechanics and Gridding Team Lead to implement new and maintain existing geomechanics functionality./ E, t0 N4 K2 V5 k; B, J
Work with User Experience, Quality Assurance, and other resources in integrated development teams to ensure new geomechanics functionality is available to users appropriately.% T# N! A& B& K' t$ w( m% h5 i& R
Follow established team software development procedures for design, coding, testing and other activities.
$ w( z+ K3 D' T% bStay current on new technologies as they relate to Geomechanics development.

Qualifications:' M& F, |8 E8 F( T

Familiarity with deformation and failure of porous media.
* g9 l; ~) w: D' T, W6 m CExperience in the petroleum industry6 d3 ~8 d1 R2 e" S
Experience programming in C# or C++.
+ |; M/ L/ t8 u" ]- VExperience with Agile development methodologies.; j) V2 ~) _! [1 d$ ^
Good organizational skills, s9 q$ p6 E, Q! E) Q5 q+ x3 G
Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision1 X" {. A( x7 l; q' I0 L: `

Education:3 x j, Q9 ^7 N! N: }
4 I: n, b( i+ A @# W. B2 c* j; s A doctorate degree in Petroleum Engineering, Civil or Mechanical Engineering, Biophysics, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or other applicable degree* {4 K/ |, Y+ V+ h+ |2 x
Experience:7 p$ U% `0 l- X) {4 ~8 |
