- Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications
: {: f q7 d6 x1 B- Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux-cored arc welding (FCAW), plasma arc welding (PAW), shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), oxy-acetylene welding (OAW), resistance welding and submerged arc welding (SAW)

- Repair worn parts of metal products by welding on extra layers

Required Qualifications
2 q7 E: H1 D2 w- Completion of secondary school
0 H) l& F( j9 N: B! N8 F' d8 t( o- A minimum of 5 years’ work experience as an industrial Welder
+ z: ~4 d. v) q- Basic English communication skills
' ~) c+ i- r. N0 t- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals1 z9 W7 ~, E( h* k
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence4 H+ i$ E) m# I1 [2 b( P
- Welder trade certification is considered an asset 2 c! a0 }; a0 P$ h
- Interprovincial Red Seal is an asset
