To acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.

• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.
5 O: p1 N5 G. R0 z# h• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;
# F4 J. w9 t' B0 T0 \7 q0 t5 l• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;* V' u" t; }* A$ a, x& q; d
• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;9 k( X1 m$ _- E! Z/ t* ?
• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.
9 F8 A$ u3 ]- P+ r. h* I2 L, m9 B• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;
. E, D0 l8 ~0 o1 N• Work with National/Regional Sales initiatives;

• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;  q1 m. ^- b/ y2 p. h
• To participate in Revenue/Yield Management meetings; Increase Market Share;

• Ensure top level delivery of expected guest service;

Requirements:: m9 A% z# |5 }0 ~& M) h/ u/ B  S
•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
% A' B( g" g* R3 G8 e- n  d• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;$ p- }/ T' }: a) R" v
• Ability to lead and develop;/ `3 Q( C: U: z/ {/ h1 u  R
• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;8 Q3 a. A- D6 R
• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;
* N7 b8 p7 \3 @4 [• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;. z! h# p: D/ h. ?( r  K
• Ability to work within deadlines;
