Job Description:
2 U( [& N) N' Q9 A' P5 `6 NTo acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.

- Q. T! d: U. F5 p• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.
6 n2 _1 {) i1 F8 {' D! L/ @% `• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;
• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;
5 z% u; D5 w3 d2 f• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;
• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.
• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;
• Work with National/Regional Sales initiatives;
• Participate in trade shows;
/ ?8 g' l7 ?) v• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;
• To participate in Revenue/Yield Management meetings; Increase Market Share;

2 n# C  w9 }; l5 U: u5 S, A•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
* `, B' j) s& z" x+ n9 A  \3 b• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
• Ability to lead and develop;
• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;
- W+ c* n- Z0 X* d/ O( I• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;
8 M% e1 O2 b2 ]& u1 B: ~& Y9 h• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
9 @  I3 u8 L# ?9 \: {- m- N* ?• Ability to work within deadlines;
• High level of creativity and innovation;
• Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments;
• Strong interpersonal skills and a working knowledge of ACT, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
