Job Description:
0 S  U8 t  r$ R" Q) HJob Responsibilities" V6 l6 z  v2 I3 |7 {
•        To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.
9 z( u+ g$ R4 P: Y+ j9 t& @•        Oversee hotel security requirements. ' k( P2 B& g) _& M7 r+ U+ F( H
•        To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.
4 @% W) u7 Q. Q•        To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation. ! O. l% g5 e% G; j
•        To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.
% B* K; H/ d2 m5 X- R•        To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.
$ _" J# _' A, V7 `& U4 O•        To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests.
' g0 m" N8 Y5 A: M•        Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave.
! d4 y1 X' f* b* Q% o•        Weekly scheduling of the front desk staff. 3 i  c, \  T& O
•        Manage rates on a daily basis for short and long term. 0 k7 O; t- `  X6 n- x5 ~" D
•        Perform 3 month and one year evaluations and/or when needed.
# H/ t& h1 X) p, w7 p•        Leading and coaching to provide exceptional guest service.
* P4 b# q! H4 i7 X( c' s2 I( _0 P•        Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware.. N5 }: ^4 M- h2 h7 d5 l. F* v) `
•        Attend Cluster meetings. . {( i. B* M8 j! N, S# n( i5 I
•        Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.  D; h& @% Q) |8 l2 W. L
•        Handle PMS computer problems in each department ' h/ t( o4 I. j
•        Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies9 V$ n' I/ q, U, M/ V6 y
•        Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center
# t: w  H6 {" z4 Q$ t0 E; |  z•        Maintaining front desk floats, and FOM float - D% V- e. u4 r
•        Any other tasks assigned by the General Manager

/ `/ p* M& f' Z: S8 u& \) B•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property- s# j$ Q. g5 J0 M8 z" l* O" A
• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;8 V  x# J8 Q+ \% G8 j7 g
• Ability to lead and develop;
# H/ U6 ~  s6 Z, G• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets;* Y2 @' j# v4 {3 B  v) S% K
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
$ b0 \* [! ]3 r/ G• Ability to work within deadlines;
7 N" ?+ s* J/ N" T4 Y- Y• High level of creativity and innovation;
2 O, u2 @0 G& F' e• Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments;
