Job Responsibilities
/ m8 Z3 w0 e6 p$ ^; }( u' K•        To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.* Q0 `8 ~7 M" {$ x2 {7 o
•        Oversee hotel security requirements.
5 a# l! v5 z$ a, g% h•        To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.
0 V1 l: W  e2 d3 U0 H# T* ?•        To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation. ' N, M4 U) ^- \9 v3 [3 ?! m
•        To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.
" J2 p+ n9 D: N; K•        To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.
; w' o/ k' h! I0 J* f, n# Z•        To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests.
  H( V" g' I, X( R% x4 E•        Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave.
% N6 G9 X+ U7 o3 S0 J- H•        Weekly scheduling of the front desk staff. 1 }3 |& H8 _8 k, r; X# P
•        Manage rates on a daily basis for short and long term. 9 n. [: {4 T- G- f! u
•        Perform 3 month and one year evaluations and/or when needed.
5 T9 C5 s- K3 C' x) N•        Leading and coaching to provide exceptional guest service. $ O( [* w. g. @( l9 A
•        Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware.
- l( k* P$ g+ S% M$ [9 U5 `•        Attend Cluster meetings. 6 G' ]% E3 ]# {4 `& h$ s
•        Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.
- V; x$ q4 i3 c; E/ U•        Handle PMS computer problems in each department * |6 q$ [) S( B$ a' e1 u
•        Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies- k0 _) [  F( t; v( U) }- w2 G( _
•        Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center& v! Z! N, _. X3 m- L$ e1 s6 `, C
•        Maintaining front desk floats, and FOM float   Z7 d) H: y0 ^
•        Any other tasks assigned by the General Manager: E% O* e) n) Z. U9 S+ v

•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
# Q8 H: V) D6 D( y$ G- n9 `• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
0 ~+ v: y: W% G• Ability to lead and develop;1 K8 u0 |$ {. m7 l, O4 J, T( g2 u
• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets;
3 ~# W/ q+ g" x7 g1 ~+ O- p• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;: r# e: m5 ?( q! h/ m- g( R- d( j
• Ability to work within deadlines;& Q3 |6 I! P  R. R8 [9 C. L
• High level of creativity and innovation;6 |2 [8 o+ A0 U6 F& J
• Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments;9 d) B9 @0 s" Q# ~, r( Q  L6 A8 y0 v  }
• Strong interpersonal skills and a working knowledge of ACT, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
