Job Responsibilities9 ]2 H0 u1 d. a; E5 H
•        To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.
- z8 J$ Q" _0 _+ `3 `# E1 l" }; p•        Oversee hotel security requirements.
- g, @" N3 r8 Q6 Q. i: Q8 u, ~•        To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.
; b# f0 A  i0 o4 E3 [# g•        To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation.
0 V4 |! Z9 X3 X•        To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.' w: W* I4 j) F0 r' b. K
•        To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.% }( J/ \* f% f4 p0 }$ \
•        To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests.- b& Z+ \8 b9 |2 G+ e9 {5 Z
•        Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave.  h+ K& L$ `( a5 l
•        Weekly scheduling of the front desk staff.   c' i% V. R7 f8 g9 q
•        Manage rates on a daily basis for short and long term.
& D( n) j% r6 q  Z1 R3 X•        Perform 3 month and one year evaluations and/or when needed. . c; s: b1 T9 U
•        Leading and coaching to provide exceptional guest service. + a5 z( v1 W& d0 A) [
•        Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware.
. O' E0 r2 n! c  j) E1 Z•        Attend Cluster meetings. ( m( O+ I9 D% }, c- q, H, C
•        Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.' ^6 A. `$ h4 P. o
•        Handle PMS computer problems in each department ) d: X' h+ R3 x2 g  x. d2 n
•        Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies- j. x) i2 ~: V5 g& \6 E2 A. a
•        Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center

•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
  O# }$ T) V/ J7 u. |. I/ Y• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;5 V3 S9 |3 P* t% R  I7 i
• Ability to lead and develop;
& L% f* ~0 O: `" Z; D; l4 u# C• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets;# a6 J, ?: L; p; J0 F4 J
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
