Job Responsibilities
4 Q: z m, Z. n4 W6 l% z7 p• To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.
* b+ Z1 {5 v' l/ x• Oversee hotel security requirements. $ k( K# Q! ?! b# c- }9 Q5 M) h
• To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.

• To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.

• Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave.5 n! h( A$ J/ }! \+ n% J
• Weekly scheduling of the front desk staff. 0 x$ N# E+ N1 ^' A. t! c
• Manage rates on a daily basis for short and long term. 0 K. O- c, A! ]6 N% G
• Perform 3 month and one year evaluations and/or when needed. - `3 p) z6 j1 G% C I+ L
• Leading and coaching to provide exceptional guest service.
' C) t! `. L# o$ ]2 O+ S• Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware.
' W6 Z: [ V9 {9 `! H1 G• Attend Cluster meetings. : i9 \) \7 |& M9 a
• Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.# g6 Z4 d/ b& @9 n0 H5 H3 }
• Handle PMS computer problems in each department
. _; r& t7 E" O2 O L( K• Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies
7 y5 N, {9 w# Z• Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center5 e( M$ j; Y6 d0 _
• Maintaining front desk floats, and FOM float

Requirements:
: _5 D6 [( b: o3 H z( v9 ?. g6 j5 G•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property6 O/ y3 ~# H' r% v1 |/ q
• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;6 [5 u' @6 R( t
• Ability to lead and develop;$ u1 ~' ]. {+ A% U. s0 g& d
• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets; i% W+ C: i* @) z' X% y0 ^
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
