Job Responsibilities
/ m8 Z3 w0 e6 p$ ^; }( u' K• To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.* Q0 `8 ~7 M" {$ x2 {7 o
• Oversee hotel security requirements.
5 a# l! v5 z$ a, g% h• To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.
0 V1 l: W e2 d3 U0 H# T* ?• To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation. ' N, M4 U) ^- \9 v3 [3 ?! m
• To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.
" J2 p+ n9 D: N; K• To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.
; w' o/ k' h! I0 J* f, n# Z• To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests.
H( V" g' I, X( R% x4 E• Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave.

• Perform 3 month and one year evaluations and/or when needed.

• Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware.

• Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.

• Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies- k0 _) [ F( t; v( U) }- w2 G( _
• Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center& v! Z! N, _. X3 m- L$ e1 s6 `, C
• Maintaining front desk floats, and FOM float Z7 d) H: y0 ^

•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
