Today Family Violence Help Centre is an innovative centre which operates with an integrated services model providing a single point of entry to comprehensive services for those impacted by family violence in Edmonton and area. The Today Family Violence Help Centre is part of a collaborative, coordinated community response.

We are currently looking for an experienced individual for the term position of Housing Support Worker to start immediately. As part of a team, the individual will be required to build a housing registry, develop relationships with community agencies that will address housing needs and coordination of housing services for individuals impacted by Family Violence.

) h& p& x/ z* ^: y3 i* g9 n/ kThe ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:
 Minimum post secondary degree or in progress of obtaining a degree.
2 I- S* s1 C) R2 b0 j- m* ~ Two to three years front line experience in providing resources to clients with barriers or experience in programs providing housing to clients with barriers.
; `; t' D' R3 L- S4 B# p  E& h Experience in assisting clients who have barriers to accessing housing.
$ O, j# Q- h# B. b5 E Commitment to work collaboratively with all constituent groups, including staff, program participants, and community agencies.
' s' O7 c  v  w, G3 { Demonstrated knowledge of community housing resources.
 Excellent computer skills, interpersonal and written communication skills.
  s; o. M2 t; c- k9 s! A  f0 r7 v Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
