Today Family Violence Help Centre is an innovative centre which operates with an integrated services model providing a single point of entry to comprehensive services for those impacted by family violence in Edmonton and area. The Today Family Violence Help Centre is part of a collaborative, coordinated community response.

' e" v, ^! d3 ^8 z. F( UWe are currently looking for an experienced individual for the term position of Housing Support Worker to start immediately. As part of a team, the individual will be required to build a housing registry, develop relationships with community agencies that will address housing needs and coordination of housing services for individuals impacted by Family Violence.

4 ]$ M7 z0 D  YThe ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:
. R3 q. o$ Z" ?( L Minimum post secondary degree or in progress of obtaining a degree.
+ [: {3 F0 u/ T: i Two to three years front line experience in providing resources to clients with barriers or experience in programs providing housing to clients with barriers.
 Experience in assisting clients who have barriers to accessing housing.
 Commitment to work collaboratively with all constituent groups, including staff, program participants, and community agencies.
 Demonstrated knowledge of community housing resources.
 Excellent computer skills, interpersonal and written communication skills.

 An understanding of family violence is an asset. The hourly rate is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on the qualifications of
