Today Family Violence Help Centre is an innovative centre which operates with an integrated services model providing a single point of entry to comprehensive services for those impacted by family violence in Edmonton and area. The Today Family Violence Help Centre is part of a collaborative, coordinated community response.

We are currently looking for an experienced individual for the term position of Housing Support Worker to start immediately. As part of a team, the individual will be required to build a housing registry, develop relationships with community agencies that will address housing needs and coordination of housing services for individuals impacted by Family Violence.

- I5 b, p4 R/ _# w8 h" c4 ~  F* m! zThe ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:
! p8 V" {) I0 W: l, e Minimum post secondary degree or in progress of obtaining a degree.
4 H2 v  d: u9 o1 D Two to three years front line experience in providing resources to clients with barriers or experience in programs providing housing to clients with barriers.
$ q2 \  ^' K# b8 o/ F4 u Experience in assisting clients who have barriers to accessing housing.
$ H  k1 e" K8 R  ]8 w Commitment to work collaboratively with all constituent groups, including staff, program participants, and community agencies.
! v) o! `, |8 J4 l Demonstrated knowledge of community housing resources.
 Excellent computer skills, interpersonal and written communication skills.
& o' o: }: h% b* [: @3 } Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
 An understanding of family violence is an asset. The hourly rate is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on the qualifications of
