•Review all aspects of the RFP documents$ O5 K' F7 D% U) f2 l2 v
•Participate in the kickoff meetings with the project team and progress meeting throughout the bid stages
# r& W# L7 X, j: Z0 r) T a; J* Z. z•Coordinate with subcontractors to understand the scope of work 1 {$ Z! U* Z6 w
•Develope a basis of estimate - Lump Sum, Target Price, Unit Rates, Create or modifty templates used in Excel to build pricing
& B _, `; ?9 ~* T, V•Research work locations for local subcontractors within the area and build relationships
3 U6 B* c) X2 G; Z•Support subcontractor technical clarifications during the bid cycle$ b7 \/ h$ [- ^
•Support subcontractor bid evaluations and make recommendations to the Lead Estimator7 u3 w; e$ |! Y1 x
•Liaise with Lead Estimator, Project Manager, and Project Controls to present key elements of the estimate which will influence the development of a bid schedule and project execution plan |
