Position Title: Program Manager (Downtown Office) – Full time position

Key Responsibilities are as follows:. P7 Y9 u# {2 @: s8 [
•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services & A' @0 \1 s# q! m
•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of  up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies3 `1 A" w1 n/ @! E. V
•Required skills include:  understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
. ?3 M% J% h  f7 h* Q5 z' b& {/ r•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.$ D4 s  N1 V1 r( Z9 v7 k
•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential/ m# y. t" B% \) Q
' r" i8 W+ A. u' X4 ^, S0 ~
Qualifications:1 r. ~# y. y' D' p% n4 E0 ^9 M
•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;# c+ a) N7 V) G. }4 a$ @' G  A
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;
" ?4 _8 d+ w: G$ {•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;; F% K2 C1 M) [6 v/ `6 @
•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
+ E- [/ J0 _: m# u+ w& h- H! A7 T2 X•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.1 Q/ X6 {4 c. @; K' O' M* Y" N) X
