This position reports directly to the District Program Manager( L1 L- S5 X* U
- P; f3 V- E4 U/ W# C  y8 m
Key Responsibilities are as follows:
& ], e3 ?5 K1 y& u# h8 }0 c•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services 3 r) h; T1 g# R* c% k
•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of  up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies

J3 O% E•Required skills include:  understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting2 E# d+ C/ Q" N$ ]3 J% N8 J
•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects., d0 I! l1 _9 K( z9 |  ?4 z
•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

Qualifications:
& {# O3 j- ~# m& T+ _6 u$ X•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;
2 ], E3 \9 M* z•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;# \9 Y7 S0 ^7 `. o/ c2 @/ V
•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;8 F/ Z! _0 @7 h3 a* @
•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
6 D7 S% [+ H7 a8 N•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory./ |3 q% @+ L: a& e! G4 P" g
