Key Responsibilities are as follows:$ @9 t( T9 S" Z5 v( O9 P/ v& q& P* N
•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services + F' x; a0 ]+ K) }5 A
•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies9 J% b! |% h2 D
•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
+ G/ x: x8 Q4 a•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.
# ?6 }8 T6 a; t•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

0 B( T/ w% I! O- V( e" Y•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ; L u" ~# x" {9 L* d( p& e- n
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;, i4 E, F/ ^3 q' Q; o' E
•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;1 r( r' }/ m5 f2 W/ t. U- w
•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential % V+ @/ N9 x1 }/ u. i( b2 L
•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.) p; w0 t3 C9 ~9 j& X
