•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services
' @' ^8 |# G" n1 G/ E. F$ O•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies D' O) L3 L6 P* P: z
•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting0 N; R$ ^: @( {/ G
•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.
% [: J* u: G& g" R6 y. u•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

Qualifications:
" G2 w5 |7 l8 t4 c•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;3 b8 b8 V+ t/ y, |" |3 T0 y; A
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;
$ p9 z3 Y: L! ?•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
9 b2 p9 l! Q2 P# ~' w% |# ?0 b! ^•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential ( L' l7 p$ j" u
•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.7 Y" \8 Z$ D/ j0 J
