In China, since the kid has a chance to go back to the other parent and grandparents on the other parent side and is 'educated' by relatives, other neighbours and so on, the kid might think a biological parent is more important and beloved than a step parent. In your friend's case, if she is the only legal guardian, this is the best! Plus, the little kid is just 2 years old, the kid will forget everything that happen during her first four or five years.3 m( a- ^( e6 K

A reminder: If your friend's ex-husband is also a legal guardian, the court order may not allow your friend together with her daughter to move to another city far away from Vancouver without the approval from her ex-husband because it may stop the kid's father from seeing the kid regularly. |
