Overall function of this position is to develop the East Asian customer base of the company. The purpose of the Business Development Rep is to drive new business in his/her territory, while maintaining profitable sales

Key Responsibilities:
, u, N* t( D$ ^# W
• To initiate, follow up on and negotiate opportunities with potential customers for the intended purpose of ‘signing’ them as new business. This is measured through in-store customer sales. 

' r( _% t# r4 D/ n+ X- E• To develop the customer base through cultivating leads & opportunities and be able to convert these into regular customers.

; d/ L7 r9 q3 [1 V• To be accountable via daily sales call reporting in real time, measured against territory growth (non-tobacco store sales) vs. the previous year.
8 Q$ h$ H7 ?* A3 P9 R8 @' ?$ M
• To execute focused selling in a large territory targeting the food-service industry, maintenance calling on high volume KEY customers in foodservice, convenience stores, small businesses, clubs & organizations.+ M: I9 h# d* o/ o t

• To execute the division’s promotional and marketing programs in conjunction with the overall business plan. Accountability via customer buying activity during the period measured through store sales.! q) @8 Y* @7 G! d& [* Y D1 c

• To manage all aspects of customer inquiries leading to regular store visits, including initial store tours. 

) F8 `- K+ L, W• To develop customer relationships with gold level customer base and industry organizations.

• To build extensive product knowledge over various categories and be capable of driving sales in achieving sales & profit targets.9 ^& `8 s+ z0 ?4 O2 Y; \
 
& g1 q0 ]7 C' D. v! [Job Qualifications
, [2 o" l8 A2 ?3 O• Ability to speak English and Cantonese or Mandarin 
/ |2 ~9 p7 P1 s. |- I; ~
• Proven experience meeting aggressive sales targets.

/ { N8 I/ d1 c) l O# {4 |; F• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience.

' Z2 M- b- V! a- r/ @# |- o/ ?. h. }• East Asian Food Service and/or Wholesale sales experience is desirable.

! n: M3 g9 d1 s1 z) e• Superior communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
1 z" }, p- D) S$ h
• Travel within the assigned region.
