Position Summary:4 R! c' g! g1 D! b- a
To provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required.# A+ H* S. _/ U! G  U4 M) P
" N5 f0 w& @, A( a
Primary Objective/Duties of position:
: ^4 w0 j7 W! M2 d0 X# ^
  G( b# u- P5 j5 t9 |$ Q    Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals
4 C/ G- V& x) B. i# o) Q    Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business! B0 w. E! |5 }
    Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients4 Z) m7 q, O3 K( G
    Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy
) E1 O& N8 M9 l9 Q* c    Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals
8 ]7 Z; _4 J- P7 Q    Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes
+ D1 T1 g9 l* R: _    Actively participate in training initiatives
- y  M# x* Z* @- i    Participate in community marketing initiatives, a7 |* x# }' T: @

4 ~& O% d' \  xThe ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:2 \. q7 O4 |! I+ s) W( L
- z5 s/ o+ Y: P/ r8 J  V
    High School and or Post Secondary Education
- ~9 y, G; i& d! L/ w' [. H    Previous customer service experience
/ q8 T0 N1 k  K  U6 P* L1 {    Previous sales experience an asset% y  m0 h' F1 V2 b( R' k' R
    General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain0 }9 T) g; O5 P( Z
    Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
, I* R0 i% y* b( W' r    Strong analytical and organizational skills
9 K6 i4 w% I8 ~; \- s% M9 j    Excellent verbal and written communication skills& G4 B* f4 f) N% |, H+ S( ]1 ]& T( F
    Excellent customer services skills and adept in conflict resolution
