To provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required.

Primary Objective/Duties of position:

+ J9 K& ?/ v' g2 ?( l Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals$ n- |# g: ?( f) d! e. e
Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business
* p r" }# \/ T7 m, P1 c Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients" H" L0 Y1 A& s
Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy" k+ U9 l" B% Z( \& w! Q
Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals8 Z1 Z/ d) {9 y" z/ U# ` E
Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes
2 P0 Z3 U) @" A! E$ X _/ i* F Actively participate in training initiatives7 O) H+ g B. ^) S4 b( g
Participate in community marketing initiatives

High School and or Post Secondary Education
2 x+ X# Y" T& i% Y Previous customer service experience
4 \5 V1 `1 K. ~( Y Previous sales experience an asset# f: V% q9 ^/ D% N4 |- y, Z
General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain# D/ V+ i. {: G& N$ [
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully0 Y! b$ W4 s; v. N: P5 J- h) o
Strong analytical and organizational skills
+ D2 j* G, C- j. I2 B Excellent verbal and written communication skills6 S$ P8 K$ l, Z B) T9 E
Excellent customer services skills and adept in conflict resolution
