To provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required.% P- |( B8 e2 I1 m# N6 X
- M& e: k* L8 T, e( m5 Z4 {Primary Objective/Duties of position:$ `( b4 F! _+ Y! q3 _
5 o: S) E/ Q. N9 e! G5 g
Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals( T1 g4 y. ?, G8 n! N! k
Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business5 k. S* g( K% M" N0 v3 P: Z: F) b
Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients' `$ ?$ G2 g# g9 ~9 f1 _2 ?! j2 K
Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy8 ~% v4 z, }, q# S" H6 s
Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals* A8 q2 v( n2 t1 ?1 L. u4 |) R
Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes
$ s9 L) _! ]6 S* A; } Actively participate in training initiatives
# }4 T4 c- t' N" N Participate in community marketing initiatives0 W: o. b' r2 v4 p# w4 I

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

6 w! E) f: X" q: w) P, J! e High School and or Post Secondary Education
- L5 ?8 }: S7 h" l# j/ `; _' l Previous customer service experience
! B+ X! Y, X+ E4 Z& S* r. Z Previous sales experience an asset
5 M! H1 o0 Q! `* e. s/ t) L General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain
( ~! V5 ?- U! g( r- `) v+ C Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully1 S6 Z5 ? ?: m N5 V3 @5 c
Strong analytical and organizational skills
' C$ Z [5 m# @! l; G0 U6 B* O1 w6 g Excellent verbal and written communication skills
# j7 T. n( q, `) k- j Excellent customer services skills and adept in conflict resolution
