(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By , ^! U! u# k5 Q
attending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of

more successful.

( b5 G+ z, E( [3 l% a Eof volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically
0 f9 o6 f& s- Y4 n$ x0 o2 ~8 @look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth
+ U K6 W) t# H1 e5 ^of directional information.

* ?) I- M$ i7 f* t4 ]Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening & y- U" N; H7 n# Q$ c' a
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend 1 P' c% e4 H# z1 i- D& |
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday ! X& _; W8 o1 Q5 T/ I& s% k
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in 9 r3 [: T# g+ o/ \% [
Hawrelak Park.

& p5 K9 W" K o9 d7 q1 hYou will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
; t6 g0 Z" J% b; `September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, ]8 Y$ S( C' i9 V2 G
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you # q7 R* F' A0 G3 A
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from # S& ~" s0 B) W- d7 U' R' @9 ^, Y* W1 d
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
; ~- d; |! `5 i6 G* \0 QONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
% T2 ]% O9 d" H" I7 O! Syour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
. g: a- o. H. K) A$ yof government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
' w. t7 L2 d6 K6 jComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic ! V" q4 p2 u+ R% Z# T& [# a
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
7 j% p/ A. P! Z F9 I' wbring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the 3 ^$ }3 L$ L3 j! b* ~$ S
two days of Orientation).2 T( T3 g7 ?8 t8 i) z/ q! t; l4 x3 a
