Orientation 2006: The Action Starts Here! Your registration in the University of

like to thank you for your interest in the My Undergraduate Groups 7 c4 G4 r8 D' m8 E2 E6 u( m
(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By

of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
% Q) L$ y: Z* b: J G6 i! L: tactivities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
0 B* c2 a! w$ D+ Da variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday
- O8 K4 Y* q2 A+ U( Q" l. T# eevening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in ; A- w. n0 e. e0 {/ c
Hawrelak Park.

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
: b* g$ M% M! s; I3 B, ZSeptember 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, . d6 P' _- P( V& u
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.

6 \! _- r: ^, D: L7 OBoth MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you I+ D/ t3 k6 r9 i- d2 F2 ~
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
+ `/ q6 W6 w4 v W. U1 tyour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your " {5 P( g- Y' _, m' w; |: M
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
+ h( V+ M& q% g* fyour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece % Z/ Q, i& J8 k, L
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
6 P- h* |' j7 c$ E& Z; L$ nComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic * n. x, N! E* q$ P- n! Q+ M8 L
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
" ^4 o1 Z/ `) Jbring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
3 K4 E0 O8 w6 B/ Mtwo days of Orientation).
