to have confidence in the house condition, you should get a good home inspection done. if the seller has already signed the offer and this wasn't included in the conditions section, then you're out of luck. if you want to know the builder of the house, you can find that out from city with a small fee or if you still have the original construction drawings, it'll have the builder logo on the drawing title block.
