4 {6 q0 o8 Z& VImmigrant women and their families can now access a “household toolkit” crafted by a local service group for new immigrant families, through real estate agents. , f7 Y. i0 r+ S/ A

In the tool kit are 75 common hand tools – like a hammer and screwdriver – as well a book on how to buy a home, a home maintenance schedule and other items.

. t0 W$ O6 Z8 y9 q“The tools are a symbol of hope for people trying to build new lives in Edmonton,” said Madeline Sarafinchan, president of the Edmonton Real Estate Board.

The program was announced by a group called Changing Together… A Centre for Immigrant Women.
