   Glass Worker – (Manufacturing Plant 1, Edmonton)

Headquartered in Edmonton, All Weather Windows is a dynamic leader in the window and door industry in Canada. Operations include manufacturing plants located in Edmonton and Mississauga and sales branches/offices in Vancouver, Kelowna, Edmonton, Calgary, Lethbridge, Red Deer, Saskatoon, Regina, Winnipeg, Mississauga and Atlantic Canada.

% i+ v5 {# A8 t8 M We are currently recruiting for Glass Workers for our Edmonton Manufacturing Plant.

The successful candidate will be reliable, safety-focused and able to work well with others.

/ t- |1 a* }2 u& W- sResponsibilities will include:
•Lift single piece of glass between 5-30 Ibs.
/ o6 z+ a7 M8 [8 D; d; R- O# C' A$ c•Understand quality issues of glass: quality of glass edge, proper technique when pulling glass out of harp rack slots, scratches, defects, etc.
•Fill and empty washer tanks and keep tanks clean
! J! j3 P. B  i( ~& r) e+ s- h% I•Follow proper pattern and placement of glass
•Keep work area clean.
6 l" F' D+ h) l4 u& u+ G•Keep up good pace to keep line moving.

6 G/ d" O  q, GPrimary Qualifications Required:
•Basic English communication skills
( V8 S& c+ Y# S6 G•Able to read a metric tape measure and use hand and power tools
4 w# F& I( _; k% C2 c•Good eye sight.
9 C$ b/ ^+ }1 y) a& {•Able to lift up to 50 lbs
•Ability to work under constant pressure
•Willing to do multi tasks when needed as member of the team
•Must be a good team player and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Status of position:
