Edmonton home builders working 'flat out' to meet demand

Builders started construction on 468 new single detached homes last month, a 34 per cent increase from August 2013.

“Right now we're running flat out, we’re building as much as we can,” said Rob Busby, construction manager for Landmark Homes.- h$ N4 r8 U( V2 F
3 f" R6 i" W( B4 N& S2 uThe increased demand is due to strong job and population growth, according to Christina Butchart, senior analyst with the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation.
