Plant Payroll/AP

Your job responsibilities will include:
0 B' L/ O3 t; X( k  }& z•Check payroll time cards, production chits and other paperwork, calculate production time. Key data into system and transmit to Nethris for processing.
  f! ]9 n4 d  b! i# [& Y•Prepare monthly payroll journal entries for capturing labour and fringe benefit costs
•Prepare monthly safety and statistical reports for management.
3 ?$ p& v# I2 ?. D3 x. f" i. |•Prepare payment requisitions for group insurance, RRSP, etc. as agreed upon by the union contract
•Coordinate work related accident and group insurance claims.

•Prepare month-end AP accrual

# Q0 _+ p  X( j' W1 J/ _6 L7 oThe ideal candidate will have excellent Excel skills and 3-5 years of payroll experience in a JIT manufacturing company. Exposure to the payroll system of Datatrack/Nethris would be a definite asset. Experience with union payroll will be an asset. Need to be able to speak fluent English, has advance reading and writing skills.
