" d c3 ~% R0 V: s. z$ b CEDMONTON — The West Edmonton Mall has reopened after police investigated a suspicious package Tuesday morning.

- G) V8 a. d8 l, uThe item, which turned out to be a DVD player, was reported to police just after 8:30 a.m. and officers swooped in to shut down entrances to the shopping centre.6 r7 u+ |" m, f. i' m6 l
% `+ W4 V# C1 ]& @Police evacuated the mall, and a short time later determined the package was merely a DVD player left on a bench outside the SportCheck store.
