No one was injured after a brush fire tore through a section of Edmonton's river valley on Friday night.% W0 y* K! j- T# n
The fire started around 11 p.m. near the Wolf Willow and Rio Terrace neighbourhoods in the west end of the city. 5 w$ e o6 y+ |. k/ i
Edmonton Fire Rescue spokeswoman Sarah Meffen said 17 fire trucks were called to fight the fire. It was declared under control at 1:20 a.m., and was officially out at 3:20 a.m.
