Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
# H3 `  C6 b' N' ?( S( xEstimate food requirements and food/labor costs
Supervise kitchen staff’s activities
2 p! K. R+ P! u; N5 i2 g( a' @Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
Recruit and manage kitchen staff
) ~1 A7 L5 K. J- F) vRectify arising problems or complaints
Give prepared plates the “final touch”
+ l8 R0 a$ p+ I* nPerform administrative duties
- E5 i1 {. S" c8 Y& TComply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
