Job Description:

Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
Estimate food requirements and food/labor costs
  W& q6 p/ U/ W9 {# h& k7 d( A% YSupervise kitchen staff’s activities
Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
  q' i* R" M& w3 J$ {/ l) CRecruit and manage kitchen staff
5 R# x0 X$ o8 q( Y- CRectify arising problems or complaints
Give prepared plates the “final touch”
Perform administrative duties
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Keep time and payroll records
; c- A$ i/ H7 H( ^7 T3 ?0 D* i+ \Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Communication and leadership skills
Keep up with cooking trends and best practices
Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
BS degree in Culinary science or related certificate
