Canada North Camps Inc. (14238 – 134 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5L 5V8) is looking to hire a full-time Cook who could be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of food items while maintaining a clean and safe work environment adding to an all-around pleasant dining experience for our customers.
Duties:
- Prepare sandwiches, salad bar and other high quality meals
5 u# _4 H. f. h+ O1 V- Supervise kitchen staff
- Ensure kitchen staff follow company safety practices
- Plan menus, estimate food costs, order supplies
- Manage kitchen operations
2 O9 _0 d, q1 v* R& C- Maintain acceptable levels of food production
- Work night shifts, as necessary
Requirements:
8 [2 j+ T# y9 _5 ^2 _. Z- Completion of college or other program in cooking is mandatory. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in restaurant / hospitality/ culinary arts is considered an asset.
- Minimum 2 years of previous experience as Cook in a fast-paced environment is mandatory.

This is a contract, full-time position.
Working hours: 10 hours per day, 70 hours per week.
% [; s/ J, n. i2 t1 `Working schedule: 21 days on and 7 days off.
Salary: $160.00 per day. After 3 months of employment, medical, dental, disability and pension plan benefits will be available.
