Canada North Camps Inc. (14238 – 134 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5L 5V8) is looking to hire a full-time Cook who could be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of food items while maintaining a clean and safe work environment adding to an all-around pleasant dining experience for our customers.
Duties:
! r8 a: x+ q: N* r, h' H- Prepare sandwiches, salad bar and other high quality meals
( O$ d# T# }0 B) E2 }5 p: M% f  D# J- Supervise kitchen staff
, P2 G2 H; ?) ?6 I. [- Ensure kitchen staff follow company safety practices
  G$ ?7 P! k/ ?; @3 V, L+ V+ g- Plan menus, estimate food costs, order supplies
4 X" b0 V$ ~4 d; _, c* a- Manage kitchen operations
- Maintain acceptable levels of food production
- Work night shifts, as necessary
Requirements:
- Completion of college or other program in cooking is mandatory. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in restaurant / hospitality/ culinary arts is considered an asset.
- Minimum 2 years of previous experience as Cook in a fast-paced environment is mandatory.

This is a contract, full-time position.
2 L0 M; y$ K+ PWorking hours: 10 hours per day, 70 hours per week.
Working schedule: 21 days on and 7 days off.
Salary: $160.00 per day. After 3 months of employment, medical, dental, disability and pension plan benefits will be available.
