I filled with tap water the same evening. 9 D- p/ \8 u1 v
I bought some plants on Saturday. The plants are great!, i/ I9 e8 k' C8 i% V/ ~2 r
I bought fish on Sunday, put them in water for an hour before opening the bag. - \4 v4 v2 T- r6 E# r% F5 g
But after one hour almost half of them died. ! l+ [1 Z( l- X
Three hours later no fish left alive. ( Q( l1 \/ S9 j
So sad to see all the beautiful little things losing their lives.

I did not plan to have the least-expensive goldfish in my tank, but for the purpose of testing my water, I bought 5 of them. They have been doing very well. I do not think it ok to throw them away live. Then when I add fish, I have to consider what fish can live along with them. ) j c% I. N0 h9 p/ S* G# n" q" I
