EDUCATION: HIGH SCHOOL AND/OR POST SECONDARY
LOCATION: EDMONTON, ALBERTA, CANADA
DURATION: CONTRACT OR PERMANENT
SALARY RANGE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but overall compensation will be results-based and goal-oriented.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:

. ^0 ]/ ~2 h+ {$ g( W4 Q: a8 m. l9 \   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
# c: P0 S+ g8 M: Q9 f; T   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
& w( w- D% l" _- Q* v   o Microsoft Operations Manager
; S1 z+ c  g9 l- N2 T+ I4 |   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
8 _1 A# ^8 c+ Y: ^/ s# s& M   o Linux based operating systems
+ g/ a! N. y7 _. |" k2 {5 B  c* a   o Sun Solaris operating systems
   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
- f6 [. w8 U/ A4 p, Q. J- ?3 v• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
$ C, C) C8 T4 K7 d6 I! ~8 S: J• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
+ E, G5 b. T5 U- @+ V1 yplatform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
SMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
) Q6 q+ e+ A7 L0 n( ^5 }• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

# @* S3 ~8 V" CSKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy

   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
, n- @  v9 C, x/ d2 C   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
0 T9 f; m( g1 D   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)
   o Any other professional certification designations are a bonus
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects
! w* n. I, X2 ]* h! D• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
/ k: l% j, V6 A& K& I" h; _# {: c5 n+ c• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005

• Have led medium to large sized projects
& A5 \" I( W6 V7 S• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
• Clean enhanced criminal record abstract
