DURATION: CONTRACT OR PERMANENT
SALARY RANGE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but overall compensation will be results-based and goal-oriented.

3 N6 {. w" j  y2 t: F) J1 d( p8 TRESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
" x* ]' U) x7 K* |- o   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
3 P3 Q0 G. Z1 E+ t( Q/ N1 c   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
   o Microsoft Operations Manager
   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
   o Linux based operating systems
9 T- u- ]4 i$ `6 G, H* x" L   o Sun Solaris operating systems
   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
) r: l& h, f5 f# i. p$ M• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
: M6 O+ I! T* f9 U  hplatform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
SMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

; Z" P  ]! y) vSKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
9 C+ z7 n, ?/ p0 q9 I. V! Q• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
$ R4 J+ Y. n6 K- \• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
+ m: V) V2 |+ w+ j. K  ~• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
5 {( }+ d9 H* p+ `. g, O• Certification should include some or all of the following:
   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
5 r9 I/ T% f6 t9 U   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
9 z) u" x! E( T% W' V- ?   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
/ o! G9 c. }! ^   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)
   o Any other professional certification designations are a bonus
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects
9 ?# m& v8 ^  ^• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
3 ~+ F$ l0 }  D5 P3 W$ f& U• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
0 @( c# j' L, z+ `3 u• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
! x& U- l6 }% B4 B+ N2 K5 }  }• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005

! m! e/ d# \0 X( \* b+ q5 u• Have led medium to large sized projects
• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
