DURATION: CONTRACT OR PERMANENT
SALARY RANGE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but overall compensation will be results-based and goal-oriented.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
& F3 S& r* P! [" x1 z2 f, f   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
   o Microsoft Operations Manager
+ M* z1 p# \7 G   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
) _' N' e* N1 _$ O   o Linux based operating systems
   o Sun Solaris operating systems
' n- B, r) U4 E4 q! v( b" h  g   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
1 ?! x% r5 H3 d& R• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
1 \. U$ p) L: M3 l, W• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
! Y: t4 ?% N5 D8 N" I' w1 g$ r' T8 lplatform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
SMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

SKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
' L4 q% v9 F, n1 Y  ]0 `) L• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
4 z# D5 H& ]4 @- c• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
' M+ @! ~# D$ u% D; S; t• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
5 @& L/ f! l' K2 y. g$ w• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
0 V1 i' \6 y5 x• Certification should include some or all of the following:
   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
$ u$ q4 L# w& Q3 X/ w4 h+ Q' o   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
% U7 E; t: \) V2 h9 B+ S   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
- T3 E6 o6 T) ^0 ?. M* j   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
. R' b6 `5 T1 Z   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)
   o Any other professional certification designations are a bonus
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects
• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
. P: q1 K4 K. b• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
7 D1 p! e3 W: i' x- X$ Y; H% ~• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
4 H" \0 j1 j4 L# D( ?& n• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
• Have 4+ years of network design experience

• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
