Volunteer Mentors: Celebrate Science Literacy Week with Children Coding Workshop

“Science Literacy Week highlights Canada’s outstanding scientists and science communicators from coast-to-coast. The goals are to showcase the excellence and diversity of Canadian science and to show how exciting science is."
* O8 X% ?8 S+ e, F c- VAs part of Science Literacy Week, Kids Code Jeunesse will be running free workshops for kids across Canada from Sept 18th – Sept 24th in Libraries and community centres to introduce children to science and code.9 F- y& l) h1 P$ [1 A+ o0 _, d
This September, Kids Code Jeunesse will be in the Edmonton area and we need your help! We're looking for volunteer mentors for Coding workshop.: C/ q( Y8 A. t& a4 J* V! w- p5 O
Key Responsibilities:# m( P; j6 y: z$ l: Q+ `0 Y
- mentoring learners and providing support to our lead instructors to help create a warm, friendly and inclusive learning environment for children/ i b0 |3 z% f7 C% `; \- t0 z- i/ \
