“Science Literacy Week highlights Canada’s outstanding scientists and science communicators from coast-to-coast. The goals are to showcase the excellence and diversity of Canadian science and to show how exciting science is."
( k, f$ s; ]6 M0 SAs part of Science Literacy Week, Kids Code Jeunesse will be running free workshops for kids across Canada from Sept 18th – Sept 24th in Libraries and community centres to introduce children to science and code.
% W$ J6 Y* J1 m; YThis September, Kids Code Jeunesse will be in the Edmonton area and we need your help! We're looking for volunteer mentors for Coding workshop.
8 x4 r" z! E- U0 k& ]  zKey Responsibilities:
0 _# w  a4 z0 n) n# \- mentoring learners and providing support to our lead instructors to help create a warm, friendly and inclusive learning environment for children

Qualifications:

- D7 D' Z6 P* u/ m. W! {. i- Enjoy the world of education and are looking for ways to give back to the community
- Have a passion for technology and want to learn more skills
- Are outgoing and love to work with children
