Volunteer Mentors: Celebrate Science Literacy Week with Children Coding Workshop

/ z0 L4 S$ g: p& c! S4 ?“Science Literacy Week highlights Canada’s outstanding scientists and science communicators from coast-to-coast. The goals are to showcase the excellence and diversity of Canadian science and to show how exciting science is."
3 e7 {3 e% W' Z; i. G0 g; mAs part of Science Literacy Week, Kids Code Jeunesse will be running free workshops for kids across Canada from Sept 18th – Sept 24th in Libraries and community centres to introduce children to science and code.
1 `( t# p( x6 p' x) `, L6 nThis September, Kids Code Jeunesse will be in the Edmonton area and we need your help! We're looking for volunteer mentors for Coding workshop.
% Q, X# I9 T& T  mKey Responsibilities:
- mentoring learners and providing support to our lead instructors to help create a warm, friendly and inclusive learning environment for children

Qualifications:

- Enjoy the world of education and are looking for ways to give back to the community

- Are outgoing and love to work with children
