* ~  W+ [; |# `: b( b  C“Science Literacy Week highlights Canada’s outstanding scientists and science communicators from coast-to-coast. The goals are to showcase the excellence and diversity of Canadian science and to show how exciting science is."
( {/ A3 v- p3 X5 wAs part of Science Literacy Week, Kids Code Jeunesse will be running free workshops for kids across Canada from Sept 18th – Sept 24th in Libraries and community centres to introduce children to science and code.
% h0 A' b' J  O- J; p# GThis September, Kids Code Jeunesse will be in the Edmonton area and we need your help! We're looking for volunteer mentors for Coding workshop.
Key Responsibilities:
0 }- \# s& K" D2 o% V- mentoring learners and providing support to our lead instructors to help create a warm, friendly and inclusive learning environment for children

Qualifications:

# F5 u4 X1 o# D- j- Enjoy the world of education and are looking for ways to give back to the community
4 H* G3 w- n: @/ g( T- Have a passion for technology and want to learn more skills
- Are outgoing and love to work with children

- 1 hour in-person training
