Description:
' X$ n) k& V6 P: d: s5 g; m“Science Literacy Week highlights Canada’s outstanding scientists and science communicators from coast-to-coast. The goals are to showcase the excellence and diversity of Canadian science and to show how exciting science is."
' [$ Z, @: ~8 g- w( _2 n' e% \As part of Science Literacy Week, Kids Code Jeunesse will be running free workshops for kids across Canada from Sept 18th – Sept 24th in Libraries and community centres to introduce children to science and code.
/ g* w4 K6 ]/ y2 ]This September, Kids Code Jeunesse will be in the Edmonton area and we need your help! We're looking for volunteer mentors for Coding workshop.
; M: `  U' U% }9 ~8 n7 p! yKey Responsibilities:
! |( p9 M; X: Y: W7 {- mentoring learners and providing support to our lead instructors to help create a warm, friendly and inclusive learning environment for children

Qualifications:

7 l% e( f* t( O1 S- Enjoy the world of education and are looking for ways to give back to the community
- Have a passion for technology and want to learn more skills
- Are outgoing and love to work with children
