“Science Literacy Week highlights Canada’s outstanding scientists and science communicators from coast-to-coast. The goals are to showcase the excellence and diversity of Canadian science and to show how exciting science is."
' [8 B) W; d9 V, f* G8 n: l# B$ vAs part of Science Literacy Week, Kids Code Jeunesse will be running free workshops for kids across Canada from Sept 18th – Sept 24th in Libraries and community centres to introduce children to science and code.
; Z& `6 Y8 ~. g% y, m/ W. _2 iThis September, Kids Code Jeunesse will be in the Edmonton area and we need your help! We're looking for volunteer mentors for Coding workshop.
- S! N- m0 C% gKey Responsibilities:
; [% ~/ t) O6 m4 \6 Y( i5 ]4 m$ L- mentoring learners and providing support to our lead instructors to help create a warm, friendly and inclusive learning environment for children

Qualifications:

- Enjoy the world of education and are looking for ways to give back to the community
- Have a passion for technology and want to learn more skills
- Are outgoing and love to work with children
