Volunteer Mentors: Celebrate Science Literacy Week with Children Coding Workshop

“Science Literacy Week highlights Canada’s outstanding scientists and science communicators from coast-to-coast. The goals are to showcase the excellence and diversity of Canadian science and to show how exciting science is."
* }0 v( q. T/ u; o9 V6 DAs part of Science Literacy Week, Kids Code Jeunesse will be running free workshops for kids across Canada from Sept 18th – Sept 24th in Libraries and community centres to introduce children to science and code.
, W5 b7 |( O7 O, l( iThis September, Kids Code Jeunesse will be in the Edmonton area and we need your help! We're looking for volunteer mentors for Coding workshop.
  o8 o! n% Z  uKey Responsibilities:
# m" [& P* ~5 ~* b2 m% ]- mentoring learners and providing support to our lead instructors to help create a warm, friendly and inclusive learning environment for children

Qualifications:

- Enjoy the world of education and are looking for ways to give back to the community
- Have a passion for technology and want to learn more skills
