Volunteer Mentors: Celebrate Science Literacy Week with Children Coding Workshop

“Science Literacy Week highlights Canada’s outstanding scientists and science communicators from coast-to-coast. The goals are to showcase the excellence and diversity of Canadian science and to show how exciting science is."9 h5 b% S+ p @( h& ?4 g
As part of Science Literacy Week, Kids Code Jeunesse will be running free workshops for kids across Canada from Sept 18th – Sept 24th in Libraries and community centres to introduce children to science and code.
! D |, U( ^$ }7 I* X. V- e+ uThis September, Kids Code Jeunesse will be in the Edmonton area and we need your help! We're looking for volunteer mentors for Coding workshop.# w" F! {/ ^+ L) E- S' M& y* N
Key Responsibilities: D8 \7 v1 g7 I2 @8 y& W a
- mentoring learners and providing support to our lead instructors to help create a warm, friendly and inclusive learning environment for children4 k6 B/ S! s. w
