The Government of Alberta introduced the special Support Our Troops licence plate in 2014. The Support Our Troops licence plate honours current and former members of the Canadian Armed Forces./ O8 l. D9 z# e
) }; o% C0 Q& [5 g7 oThe majority of the revenue from the sale of this plate will go towards the Support Our Troops Program managed by the Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services.: X1 J- V8 H6 x) J3 E: y

The design features artwork in honour of the first 4 Alberta-based Canadian soldiers whose lives were lost in Afghanistan in April 2002.) z$ _9 f" w. \* h' m0 T) g
