The Alberta government has an online source of data known as the Alberta Land Titles Spatial Information System (also known as SPIN2), from which a limited amount of information is available for free.( f$ J8 P. n# B" n

1. Visit https://alta.registries.gov.ab.c ... temunavailable.aspx, click on the 'Guest Login' button, and agree to the terms of use:

: v& X9 v: H9 s1 X2. Click on the 'Search' button at the top of the next page:

4. Enter the address in the fields at the top right and hit the 'Find' button:5 ^) }% M3 |8 P* x& P; O

5. This will bring up the rough area on the map. From here you may have to navigate around using the north, east, south and west buttons. There is also a zoom button at the top left:

& ], {- S8 L8 W6. Once you've identified the property you want, click on this little icon in the bottom left of the screen, under the 'Tools' functions:

7. Then click on the property you want and it will open up a new window. In that window, click on the little binoculars icon under 'View':, v, m# C7 n" m' k5 G/ v2 p e

' F/ ~, r8 W0 e/ X: O9 b; `1 ?0 u8. That will bring up basic information about the property, which usually includes the 'value' and 'consideration' of the most recent transfer of ownership:
