The Alberta government has an online source of data known as the Alberta Land Titles Spatial Information System (also known as SPIN2), from which a limited amount of information is available for free.* F6 L5 d$ m, E

1. Visit https://alta.registries.gov.ab.c ... temunavailable.aspx, click on the 'Guest Login' button, and agree to the terms of use:

2. Click on the 'Search' button at the top of the next page:

5. This will bring up the rough area on the map. From here you may have to navigate around using the north, east, south and west buttons. There is also a zoom button at the top left:9 ~# V( Q7 y9 ]7 g& T- h/ h

6. Once you've identified the property you want, click on this little icon in the bottom left of the screen, under the 'Tools' functions:) t: x, x! T" R8 h% J9 |3 h9 x; \$ Q

7 v2 \5 B7 p5 ^7. Then click on the property you want and it will open up a new window. In that window, click on the little binoculars icon under 'View':% ?0 s" M U+ ?

8. That will bring up basic information about the property, which usually includes the 'value' and 'consideration' of the most recent transfer of ownership:
