The Alberta government has an online source of data known as the Alberta Land Titles Spatial Information System (also known as SPIN2), from which a limited amount of information is available for free.% G$ l, _7 B/ p: {

1. Visit https://alta.registries.gov.ab.c ... temunavailable.aspx, click on the 'Guest Login' button, and agree to the terms of use:

2. Click on the 'Search' button at the top of the next page:

3. Click on 'Search by Street Address':3 q' h% h. |$ r+ a' s4 Z

5. This will bring up the rough area on the map. From here you may have to navigate around using the north, east, south and west buttons. There is also a zoom button at the top left:

6. Once you've identified the property you want, click on this little icon in the bottom left of the screen, under the 'Tools' functions:

7. Then click on the property you want and it will open up a new window. In that window, click on the little binoculars icon under 'View':/ V8 ]# P) v4 K8 \7 i1 ~8 S* n

8. That will bring up basic information about the property, which usually includes the 'value' and 'consideration' of the most recent transfer of ownership:- h. R4 }' `! Z) ^% b$ x
