U of A professor and his wife charged in alleged sexual assault of minor) d& O8 Z( @% M! b5 |( s5 y) V+ D. |3 K
8 ]$ k& p/ W3 E7 iA prominent cancer researcher at the University of Alberta, and his wife, are facing a number of charges related to the alleged sexual assault, and confinement, of a teenaged girl.

Zhixiang Wang, 50, and his wife Xinmei Chen, 49, were arrested at Edmonton Police Service headquarters on February 14.

# J5 M; d; [0 x0 JWang is facing charges of sexual contact with a minor, and sexual assault – for reported incidents dating back to between Nov. 1, 2009 and May 31, 2010.

Chen is facing a charge of unlawful confinement of a child for alleged offences from May 31, 2010 to Jan. 29, 2013.4 j# R! a, B- }, G* S0 N2 y& b
