在这里学会了做很多吃食, 现在向大家介绍一种面包, 很适合我们(至少我和家人)的口味, 也很容易做. 有时我会加一点全麦粉来替换白面, 再加一些燕麦, 更有营养. 可以手工做或用面包机. 如用面包机, 量一定要掌握好.也可以做成一个一个的小圆面包.: G& b) n2 _5 m5 t

Honey Bread

4 + 1/2 CUPS ALL PURPOSE FLOUR+ d D9 W/ Q4 P# |' c$ ?' T" [
2 packages yeast
! p7 _ C, E' Y! U% k2 h S1/3 cup nonfat dry milk
; V6 L0 O9 m/ T- g9 R1 s! y: `* O1 teaspoon salt
+ D8 b8 P. ^" e9 ]" i- M. S1/2 cup pineapple juice

1/3 cup shortening0 V2 _, H% f Z+ ?4 c
1/4 cup honey) v* M. S- V% }8 W
2 eggs

In a large mixer bowl, combine 2 + 1/4 cups flour, yeast, dry milk and

, 1/2 cup water, shortening and honey until very warm (120 degree) ;* N; B; t& H$ I4 N, I4 ]* ]7 [
shortening does not need to melt.)6 s" ^4 X: d: M: V
Add to flour mixture, add 2 eggs and food coloring. Blend at low speed
2 r5 E! f) h* x, O0 vuntil moistened, beat 3 minutes at medium speed. By hand, gradually

in enough remaining flour to make a soft dough. Knead on floured
! r6 I5 L! T3 m- r. Wsurface, W2 D' }+ K$ O4 k6 {7 h' B
until smooth and elastic, about 5 minutes. Place in greased bowl,
& p9 q% ]' h0 L7 b8 z! aturning to grease top. Cover ; let rise in warm place 15 to 20 minutes+ S1 E- A4 s; ~
(30 minutes for active Dry Yeast).: i& Y8 x1 s* c H Y
! _$ c* R* @6 G7 }% tPunch down dough. On lightly floured surface, shape into a round loaf.( q7 v" F( d4 a, j, N- `
Place in greased 9 to 10-inch pie pan. Cover; let rise in warm place

to 20 minutes (30 minutes for active dry yeast). combine one slightly! f2 J! c5 V! N( R: u
beaten egg and 1 tablespoon water; brush loaf. Bake at 375 degree

35 to 40 minutes until golden brown. Remove from pan; cool. |
