4 v; k. c; [- M5 cAs a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:

+ B6 H6 T/ t% P- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
" @6 V, i: _9 ^- b- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. ; k0 S1 X) u$ s* m
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. a/ S9 b* o3 {8 }# \ } g% l
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. * w8 c0 c2 M5 f: d( _7 ]! J& B/ z3 |) o. C
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence. : J# S: D* I/ w8 N$ A
- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction). 8 {' z2 r6 l+ \7 `+ r2 Q

- Strong leadership skills 7 u8 E1 _+ z' c" Y5 Q; t7 `
- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
' R7 h! b! ?& e& J- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills 7 }- ]0 w) f% y
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations # A8 G4 n5 `: I
- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques. J/ F u2 @* e( z$ T; ~/ @* j' N- O
