Job Description : Description of Accountability

As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:) E- l' ]0 A! N0 x2 f9 w" ~+ q
. d8 W! y( G+ G# h- y- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved. + L; Q! t7 ~% K3 V$ F- l
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. # W! `! M& c6 i
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. ( k# u/ E+ Z0 q- {4 g
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. 3 Q' G$ F# n/ i
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence. - H7 S, Y) B" w0 e: N2 K0 Q7 j% q
- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).

Experience and Education Requirements7 ~8 P) a$ ^9 ]+ e" o7 m

- Strong leadership skills
9 h; u+ a" V3 _- u6 K5 s \- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
' q; a& B. n0 |- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
; n. F8 J4 W8 R4 j% _8 u+ C8 z; a6 O0 ~- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations 5 w" ~9 V7 m8 Q8 O
