R4 J* c z7 n* [1 h+ aAs a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:
; n! ?" M$ d, ?5 h
3 m% V+ D9 ~2 p& ]" r- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved. 4 p) _7 z" n F3 M5 f( C
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. 0 T4 z0 a2 `3 z) d- Y
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
2 a y. H4 A; | z5 A3 W! E- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. 5 Q5 F/ I0 e( G' V. h( V
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence. : c8 {# c# P0 G h4 c/ z# T
- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).

- Previous supervisory experience
$ u3 a7 a& y$ |- Strong leadership skills
: d/ v$ [% t0 L' j! v- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
% z+ i, N. I, u& f _/ S- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills 6 U& E7 A+ p( G" E
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations ) P U9 B, n; K( l5 j3 o; v
- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
