As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:

- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
( |5 o- l6 Y6 A& J3 Z: T6 _$ q- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. ( ^) N4 e' B' ^3 H4 X8 I5 Z
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. . W6 B- i; c- j1 n% i
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. 4 A, s+ O0 o6 A) m. U, k H) f" i& G
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
4 J1 O* u% Z) b r* e7 K- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).

Experience and Education Requirements

+ R( i5 a/ w% `7 B/ Q- Previous supervisory experience " r" V( c0 q, G: b
- Strong leadership skills ' h# D9 S, p6 `7 `. e
- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
5 @7 X& S- A7 o, J- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
[; a, O$ t* v- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
2 x' \3 Z4 L+ N4 @ z! m8 R- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.; U$ O& i, q9 u8 q( m/ H' w- v- j1 H
