. ~0 w4 B! d2 j7 i1 q! B& r% oAs a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:

! a. _& N" C5 p7 G# F6 ~- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
% }; @ ~* `; Y# q0 R- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
! L& ?- a1 }& @( k: E! G! P) n- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. . S9 ]1 ~2 p! m8 X/ m( s* P0 Q
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. , C, F- s" h, g, R' O
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
) j9 \; @( \- S& A7 F- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction). & W( w; ]* Q& W$ u! G
- Managing shift expense budgets.

Experience and Education Requirements* `, S: p* x9 m, U
8 [1 n# n; j8 ]! v+ w
- Previous supervisory experience 3 M! V, J+ O# l! U5 @0 |
- Strong leadership skills
2 m$ z% P) S% k$ Z$ N$ B0 J8 \- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
5 f+ i' U7 m% e- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
/ {6 k8 U) i' m- h& b) Y3 P- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
0 f: l, t) H* h# D u& C- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
