As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:* G( }5 G# o& P
( w1 X8 d% Z- k- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved. 1 O7 M" c. E X2 N- W
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
5 m! I' v5 p& a. M" @- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
2 w) b7 `# m' K4 }1 E- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
5 C, L! | `& N _0 l- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
) w( @$ u! n) X( ]- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).

- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills L% L3 E% j* X7 J4 p. V, P8 |
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
7 h* [8 y: [. @- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques. H( j! l2 H9 m4 |4 ]! _/ G
