Essential Responsibilities:

^6 q$ z1 @& c5 u0 q% fPLC, HMI and SCADA programming of control systems in a variety of platforms for water and wastewater treatment systems.
, {1 U4 ]3 T2 _. D) P) zConfiguration and testing of PLC data and IO networks.
# b/ J) }4 x4 r1 ^$ F. ORead and process engineering documents, including P&IDs, process design guidelines, Electrical Schematics, Communications Network Architecture and engineering best practices guides." B8 o* P A7 W. M
Collaborate in cross-functional project team discussions and meetings, and proactively seek relevant details for programming deliverables.
1 n7 w, e( T; K5 RInterpret and follow contract and customer specifications
& A- b: T( c3 k) l" i) k' \7 IContribute to the design of process controls strategies and documentation with operator and equipment safety in mind.
6 l* H8 g7 b1 v2 e% B' s) xManage budget, scope and schedule and report risks and opportunities to project managers in timely manner.9 F- F% g; N' ]4 g
Lead/coordinate/guide other automation programming resources for projects as needed7 ?6 p* l7 }, x* l/ K/ \
Communicate in a formal, professional, and technical manner to various audiences
5 K: L+ d( N. e J6 SProvide timely support for field service teams during commissioning, trouble-shooting, and issue resolution7 t3 l- T, d( o- N) H
Work with 3rd-party system integrators to coordinate plant design and operation as needed
! U% g9 x# p7 V% Q# g% hEstablish, maintain, implement and follow standard practices for programming.
: a6 p' i* t1 H* rExecute projects for a wide variety of Water Treatment Technologies (including Ion Exchange, Immersed and Pressurized Ultra Filtration, Membrane Bioreactors, Reverse Osmosis, Electro Deionization, Electrodialysis Reversal, Thermal, Conventional)$ ~1 Z8 o- t$ b9 h9 \. W2 Q3 V
Participate in customer witnessed FAT, SAT and other related Control System checkouts as needed
+ F4 w+ J, v& s5 |& P5 P! H8 Q' k! BWork with internal stakeholders to provide input up front in the project cycle including bids, design reviews and factory testing7 U- X* l3 k6 e: V+ k
Lead internal initiatives aimed at improving the automation team and greater business and independently drive to closure
5 B$ [3 r5 z9 C4 c7 q/ C* ]Occasional domestic travel (~15%) for client meetings or customer site visits.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Equivalent from an accredited University or College7 X# a/ f& \9 V: z2 h' ~
Two to five years' experience developing Rockwell based PLC, HMI and SCADA programs for process control applications.( ^ z+ i {6 J4 H+ C n. M- R
Automation testing experience (simulation and/or field environment)$ V+ f0 w+ l% ^& H z. A
Experience interpreting process control documents.! W1 ]: P+ j' u4 I& r- S( }
Excellent written/verbal communication skills and problem-solving abilities
" J/ L# b8 v x) e; rProven ability to follow set of procedures and standards, and extrapolate new concepts from established standards
3 K( `, w+ W- k* N b# g, ZKnowledge of and/or demonstrated ability to learn equipment and processes related to SUEZ WTS products and systems including but not limited to RO/ED, UF/MBR, Ion Exchange, Thermal and Conventional technologies2 [$ \: }6 H2 y# d

Mechanical experience particularly with water treatment equipment (pumps, valves, instrumentation, relief valves, regulators, pneumatic systems, etc.)

Ability to quickly shift focus from one technical issue to another while maintaining commitment to accuracy and precision
