This position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

The procurement officer is responsible for:
-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
( w* V3 C( t* f6 G' @-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
-        Building and managing supplier relationships
-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

Requirements:
1 n; K; S& K4 \- Sound research skills
7 ], Y$ z$ A* J! |8 J  f, e- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
2 g2 d( ]9 U. y- Friendly and outgoing personality
. {. y; j) X$ g7 u- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
$ w0 ~8 x4 ^, `1 o% \! B+ L2 u2 ^5 B- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
