This position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

The procurement officer is responsible for:
-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
9 \* a2 S( J2 K9 {: m, O& c-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
* L5 w4 z' J" f6 U$ z3 |-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
) G/ v$ G% t1 d0 Z9 M# h/ H) p-        Building and managing supplier relationships
-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

+ O" X6 M5 K. S, YRequirements:
- Sound research skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
) y+ W+ I1 \1 t! l- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
9 M3 ?& N1 G8 U/ y5 c* O6 H- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
( x1 C/ Q" J! w' l7 L  d. M( B0 C- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
