This position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

The procurement officer is responsible for:
6 K! a" f+ Z7 ^( f-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
. W, @/ Z' k( k! B! Y/ `0 R: k-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
-        Building and managing supplier relationships
-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

Requirements:
- Sound research skills
2 [) {+ ]- i2 T% ~( I" |) N- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* U0 A# t6 Q  `& N) V- Strong organization and time management skills
: ^' Q5 e0 H2 t( z4 A+ K' Q- Friendly and outgoing personality
2 c/ u9 n# S' F0 d4 _( d- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
, V3 l! e8 c( V# g* t- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
3 q. ?" l* |- v- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
