2 r& b( G/ P2 [7 u/ iThis position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

The procurement officer is responsible for:
3 h" q0 p* i# Z" C+ r3 j-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
+ B' ^' l# g* B2 s-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
-        Building and managing supplier relationships
2 w; {/ C- U- S  [, v. }1 ^-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

" M6 ]% {! g  k  e' z2 XRequirements:
6 B" _6 Q9 ~9 h4 G- Sound research skills
! V) h3 J% q) t; o( U- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
. ]4 Z2 y6 d( }$ W' M- Strong organization and time management skills
- Friendly and outgoing personality
, V+ b& v! I, u( R: G% j- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- m; D1 c3 s3 X! H5 y& u- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
  E3 d. [: s, G- S% d2 @- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
