CAC recycling is a metal recycling facility that provides on and off site processing to oil field and local businesses. We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to fill our open  Accountant within our growing team.

2 M" [6 s( ^2 x1 M! T5 LResponsibilities:
6 W3 k7 J5 W: I' y# O3 V6 K•        Manage all accounting transactions
9 s! }- u  G) c/ {2 [+ X# ^•        Publish financial statements in time
•        Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
1 C% K% W. p7 c( ~! I! Z) E•        Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
7 |+ {7 A9 j: T. Q6 Y' l•        Ensure timely bank payments
•        Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
; o& D! Z1 O3 }  n•        Maintain accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
•        Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
9 _2 a- Y9 F, ^5 `7 o1 W2 g  q/ o( q7 J•        Comply with financial policies and regulations
•       Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Accountant Requirements:

•        bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (Essential).
, F8 Q! S0 d* G1 a•        Minimum 5 years of Accounting work experience (Essential)
•        2 years of Cost Accounting work experience. (Asset)
•        Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
# P" H7 l4 S. T•        Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
•        Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
•        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6 f! Q; E4 o  k& D( }) z1 M•        Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skills as an Asset.
