Average house prices have hit half a million dollars in southwest Edmonton and almost $400,000 across the Capital region.; Q+ ], V; N: b1 T
4 `: {; D2 ^7 G( `) A W: ]" b“It is clear that housing prices have not yet peaked,” Carolyn Pratt, president of th Edmonton Real Estate Board said Wednesday, releasing the March sales figures from the Mutiple Listing Service.

: }+ u/ O9 _# ]In only the first three months of this year, average home prices have climbed 12.4 per cent, so Pratt has abandoned her earlier forecast of a 15 per cent increase for the full year.
