CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

. M* w, e/ ^7 w4 D7 y/ {· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork
- K4 ]' `* u1 W4 ^, Y
0 i( }8 \( C4 Y6 B+ R/ T5 k& x· Connecting and disconnecting trailers

· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

7 M! f0 L. |7 I+ a· Operate manual and automatic shifts

· Secure loads safely

· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner

· Minimum 3 years experience
. Z7 T4 c5 `* `0 p1 t3 y' `$ S
· Valid Class 1 license

5 b$ ^& L8 Y) y. q! j4 O· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

% ?9 P7 m! Y) ~+ p8 ~& Y. r; @% Q- {· Load securement certification
/ N; f/ ]8 X" r- I9 r
· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations
: E5 N, P' Q3 Y; S
· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

: P& W+ p2 H6 g· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.

· Ability to make runs to town or day runs to Fort Mac

· Oversized loads experience is considered an asset
