Class 1 Driver Needed

CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

6 }) J4 r% g  u% \( ?· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

· Connecting and disconnecting trailers

· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

: k6 N) A1 K7 w4 {, `5 ~& E0 {* B· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s
% N; ~9 i( M0 O0 v3 r& P: y
! A2 \* t3 }- K: F  m& k· Operate manual and automatic shifts

· Secure loads safely

$ X- Z5 x4 e% e% P9 ^1 p· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
& ~0 r9 V! I) ]: x" UQualifications and Training Requirements

· Minimum 3 years experience
$ Y( c' ~# C' v
· Valid Class 1 license

( B- J- V/ l0 i; m  ^& |9 p. ?/ o· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

· Load securement certification

· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

4 j$ w4 z" p0 X· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

) y/ _9 ?% x, Z# p6 A  r% q· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.

· Ability to make runs to town or day runs to Fort Mac
