CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

5 E( R6 F% c7 P; v; g! L· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork
) X/ d: J4 o3 b. Y1 U1 h& ?+ t
· Connecting and disconnecting trailers
  a5 b+ U# U6 u- d0 t
/ P7 F, x! A5 z5 B! {· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

- o8 {* X- S( G1 S* x% L· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

! o7 w5 N. i7 Q8 U) O: T* Y, o$ K· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
Qualifications and Training Requirements

7 }# U+ X% \$ l! }$ y- y· Minimum 3 years experience
; R# J, b2 u3 u, @2 w/ P
2 B( O. u' a/ [) w& v6 z· Valid Class 1 license
  ~+ D- Z+ u; J# O/ M
· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

· Load securement certification
# [( |- K2 x! S
5 B4 P' v9 p3 p/ |# r· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations
! O6 F5 M- [/ q. K) f. F
+ _8 W; K9 n' Y  H· Excellent organizational and time management skills

* \" D& T& y2 u· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

+ G  f. @# _5 k/ {· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

* C" |8 f' j; Y& T· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.

· Ability to make runs to town or day runs to Fort Mac

· Oversized loads experience is considered an asset
