CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork
  `0 f& j$ t0 L
! o0 `0 O5 R* C2 Y+ e& O/ |8 p7 l· Connecting and disconnecting trailers

/ {6 d& u2 R; E9 s- _0 k· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

4 n- O6 o% U( K+ l· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s
' H. K) q! d4 l! X6 v
· Operate manual and automatic shifts

: ?) l; I: A" s- m/ J9 C0 V· Secure loads safely

/ b9 T6 G/ K  K6 V+ i· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
! I) ]' w  b8 x6 ]! c" i$ qQualifications and Training Requirements
- F" O% \6 K$ B3 W
· Minimum 3 years experience

! G) F# {7 W& R· Valid Class 1 license

% o6 C- ]8 u' o& y1 C· 5 years clean driving record and abstract
' k% I2 `0 u1 R( R; N" z0 W! ~
$ ~& N7 s9 m/ ^$ ]· Load securement certification

· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

' \* H) L$ i' Q$ d* J· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)
' U! D" _' n1 _4 i+ o
· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.
