CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

, R/ b+ _' B) f+ q3 H- G
· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

· Connecting and disconnecting trailers
$ N# [3 d4 O0 i8 V  \) W" k9 H* A
· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

7 o) {# L. L0 d$ I& m( @9 S, R· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order
3 i! N- P  G6 F" Z0 y7 V5 m
· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s
9 [. z- v( X7 K$ ?2 _- E4 B
· Operate manual and automatic shifts

· Secure loads safely
$ |7 s. Z9 }9 H0 b& L* K. A7 B
9 ], F) D; p' u· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
Qualifications and Training Requirements
8 R$ B% `. ~3 ~! @! O. T# ^. J9 z+ A
( V" ^) x/ Y/ R) _) p· Minimum 3 years experience

5 l2 c7 v# o6 k/ H* r· Valid Class 1 license
- L3 \8 I# N# \' Z$ s' l
· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

% a3 ^" S$ q* ]+ e! m; u· Load securement certification

· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations
4 e& s# L4 C& m, T
$ J* [3 s) \8 Z0 x· Excellent organizational and time management skills

1 h! o1 U! k8 L4 h. s· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)
9 g! ~5 b0 l! G
· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

! U' Z- p$ f, g  I. _9 G$ f/ ?· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.

· Ability to make runs to town or day runs to Fort Mac

· Oversized loads experience is considered an asset
