CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

% r6 W4 A4 O/ n, R· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork
$ J" ]" W8 m4 t2 J8 y0 g0 B& v" d
· Connecting and disconnecting trailers
; _% m( Y# \; S5 ~3 C
9 A- R% G7 F' h2 I0 f. H- v· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

· Operate manual and automatic shifts
# M/ |8 H1 ]% b1 R
% b6 j' u3 p7 J# e· Secure loads safely

· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
Qualifications and Training Requirements
5 f. @- Y; B; ]7 [7 {: m
4 {/ ~% \- p/ s( ~· Minimum 3 years experience

· Valid Class 1 license

· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

6 _" f  H4 W# r: L4 `" j) F· Load securement certification
3 t! F9 V+ l- V( v5 m
· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations
; ]6 \, M! m: f9 q
; J$ a0 f3 H5 M' W0 }, x2 @· Excellent organizational and time management skills

) L7 v  k1 `& `4 [2 n# A· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)
& F4 }( y6 W, ?0 W
; ^8 }7 O( V" v: s% M0 q/ v8 |+ W· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

6 V1 w* w% j4 s) z( y/ O1 Q· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.

· Ability to make runs to town or day runs to Fort Mac
