Statistics Canada is looking for a reliable individual for a part-time position to work evenings and; a5 Y9 ~. v; M# j4 m# W V
weekend hours.
4 E. g' L/ T' L0 ?You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of the Research Data Centre (RDC) computer
' E; L. X9 t5 ~& L, H: z6 Zlab located on the University of Alberta campus as well as providing administrative support for the0 ~4 t* P! v/ x: ]4 {
centre.
6 F3 |+ F% x; J4 z* i! P( hThese responsibilities include:
/ B6 z8 N* N" P! g6 [( t-Maintain the integrity of the security systems in the RDC.( V& w9 q( c* _) E; p$ v! I+ B6 e
-Provide basic support to clients on operating Window XP.
/ W: R+ M& O7 O4 e-Provide general office administration support, such as filing, upgrading software and- _# x5 g H. r3 P) L1 X2 w
renewing licenses, communicating with various university departments with respect to
" g# ^5 P9 ^2 D$ W( sfacilities’ maintenance, etc.
% s$ A' ^, l% _7 e8 ?) u- Z-Conduct other office related tasks, such as Internet documents search, backup of electronic 4 Z9 L- x7 _. G% y( d: a2 Q a9 o1 m c1 R

-Successful completion of Bachelor degree in administration, business, computer sciences, # Q/ C0 E1 Z& Z
education, economics, sociology, statistics or related discipline; or an acceptable combination

-General knowledge of the Microsoft Window operating system.) X: Q7 u! _5 M/ l+ s6 A- j
-Extensive experience in using Microsoft Window office application software including Word
